Normally, I post photos of Louie, the grey fox. This time, I was able to get a shot of Saki, the red fox from the other zoo I serve. Saki is older and he tends to hide more during the day. They're both good boys.

I was out before the sun was up and spotted this fox at the bottom of the path. I watched him searching and sniffing the ground. I could not believe my luck as he ran up the path towards me. I was holding my breath as he came closer....and to my delight almost in front of me before realizing I was there. What a gift and best way to start the day :)
Just stepped into the grass and weeds of Cooking Lake, North Shore when this fellow and I surprised each other. With a yelp he was away. My 1st 2 shots were out of focus but these two turned out pretty nice. I was so pleased as I have only ever seen foxes on 4 or 5 occasions and have never been able to get a photo. I guess that makes this a lifer for me
