These red leaves are from the rose family and are one of the last leaves each year in the forest to turn red and fall off. I used a flash, shining through these leaves, to bring our their color and contrast them with the grey sky. Positioning the flash outside the range of view was not an easy job with this wide angle lens (15 mm).

We're Here is all red today and I thought I would take this opportunity to show off the chapeau EkkyP made for me. Welcome back to Flickr, Emma! We missed you.

Raindrops on red petals. Picture created from a focus stack of 26 photos taken with a Canon 35mm macrophoto lens mounted on bellows. The subject was illuminated by diffused flash.
Red Mountain is a 7,375 foot mountain in the foothills of the Colorado Front Range that overlooks the town of Manitou Springs. It lies just south of the Manitou Incline and offers great views of the many hikers ascending the grueling trail that ascends nearly 2,000 feet in just one mile. The summit of Red Mountain features the graffitied remains of the old summit house. I took this photo using a Canon 6D DSLR camera and a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM lens.
Beautiful shot of the ever-picturesque Ducati 899 Panigale with f/2.8 bokeh goodness. Handheld 1/30s, ISO 8000, with the 6D and 40mm "Pancake" lens.
The day after Arne we headed to Brownsea in search of the squirrels and were not disappointed. Unfortunately by the time i'd spotted the opportunity for the action shots light was fairly low, i'll be making a return trip looking to improve on these images!

People have asked if the colors are all real. They are saturated a bit, but the combination is as original.

This has to be my favorite color for a R8, a gorgeous red color in combination with carbon side blades!

In Florida, Red-shouldered Hawks breed from January through May or through June . Most birds reside in Florida, but the states' population is
augmented in September and October by fall migrants from northern states.
The Red-shouldered Hawk is probably the most numerous and widely distributed breeding hawk in Florida. Pairs
are quite noticeable as they circle above their territories, incessantly crying "kee-yar kee-yar," and intermittent
performing undulating sky-dances.
I found this one perched on a fence doing his crying thing, at Dinner Island Ranch WMA. Hendry County, Florida.
It was just one of over a dozen I saw that day.
