You're probably wondering what's with the white walled tires – they were heavily used, dirty and dented old style tires. After ignoring them for a long time, I decided to try give them a new life. The process turned out better results than I anticipated and so far, I've managed to recover three complete sets. Not to mention, they are even.. credible.

And now a bunch of red tulips, which are my favourites though for choice I'd have them a shade deeper than these. As Valentine's Day approaches, the red ones vanish, held back so they can be put into extra-large bouquets...

I just love these birds and the nasal beeping noises they make when bopping around in the trees.

This may be an immature Coopers Hawk rather than a Red-tailed Hawk.

This aggressive Red-winged Blackbird was busy chasing other birds away. I suspect that babies had hatched or eggs were laid.

It's difficult to narrow down which photos to post of Slash, the red panda. I finally selected four. I don't think you'll mind seeing his face as he munches some bamboo leaves.
