I went down to London a few weeks ago so went to check a spot I know to see what the foxes were like. To my amazement this female came running right up to me (I'd not seen her since 2019). An evening well spent as far as I'm concerned. :)

A crossbill in typical habitat. This bird feeds almost exclusively on the seeds from pine cones. A rarity in OK. Our beautiful world, pass it on.

(Sciurus vulgaris) Whilst in Norway on our trip we did manage to see some land based animals and birds too. This red squirrel though was the only one we saw, but what a little cutie!

It's that time of the year when i get a chance to try and photograph Red Foxes.

Weather was overcast, Raining and a bit of thunder.

It took quite a while for a Fox to show up, and it was a very brief and cautious visit.

Red-breasted Merganser appeared to be stranded between iced areas near the shore. It appeared it didn't want to fly out into open water or couldn't. It finally fumbled over iced areas to get to the open water.

A close-up portrait. Shot in the evening just like the blue jay so I'm looking to try when the light is more favorable.

I was walking down the River Nene at the weekend and spotted this red kite lazily gliding up the river. I see red kites all the time but mainly whilst driving so I don't get many opportunities to photograph them so I decided to wait and see if the bird would come closer. It took a while but eventually it passed right overhead

Being still in Covid-19 Lockdown I have to restrict my wildlife photography to what I can capture from my garden. Fortunately, although we only have a small garden, we live in a very rural area of Norfolk. We are lucky to have a fairly varied amount of wildlife visit our garden here. Yesterday, we were treated to this quite low flypast by this amazing Red Kite right above our house. So who needs to go out to find wildlife to photograph when these amazing birds of prey put on a great display for us at home.

Two times I passed through the same street and each time the same roof colors stopped me to capture the contrast of the night blue and the red.
