Collaborative installation with Garrett Deiter. This piece was created in our garage and consisted of a variety of "20 something yr. old" items like a skate ramp, bike, kegerator (fridge designed to hold kegs), suitcase, plants, surfboard, and more. The point of this installation was to draw attention to the idea that all these objects really aren't anything important in the end, they're just things. And at certain times these things may seem so important or defining of our lives, but life is about much more then what we have. We chose to wipe this reality out.

The kind of creature you might meet in the twilight zone (between awake and sleep, abstract and concrete, here and there). They act very alien also, never even remotely fitting your preconceptions, so be careful! It has that same kind of spooky, dark non-descript background.

Its ok, its not real. Its a representation.

I wanted to create a weird scene in the studio. This wasn't my first idea, but the lighting didn't work for that so i tried something different.

I really like the outcome, it's not something i usually do.

i like that part of his hand is outside of the screen so it's coming towards reality rather than behind.

The middle of the aquarium had it's own bird sanctuary for birds that were injured and could no longer fly. The wing on this little guy was stuck like that. There was another one that would swim in tight little circles.

Been home for almost a month. Been very depressing. I'm organic and my neighbor sprayed my property while I was gone. Big issue in that it could cost me my organic status for the next 3 years. Additionally we could be in court paying lawyers for years.

Three of Paisley’s young up and coming bands “Shattered Glass, Uncut and Vague Reality” had their fans bouncing along to their sets at Callum’s Cavern on Saturday night with their brand of covers and original music. While Brick Lane studio owner Alan McEwan watched on from the side lines as he and others have been promoting young bands and giving them a place to show of their talents.

For those of you who don’t know, Callum’s Cavern was named after Callum Reid who played drums from for one of Paisley’s biggest punk bands, Defiant pose. Where I was lucky to play along with Callum on bass, like one of many to passed through the band many moons ago. So to see venues like this, giving young bands a hands up is a testament to those who’ve been there and done it like Alan himself.
