Historic China Camp Village, San Rafael, Marin County, San Pablo Bay, Northern California, USA.
It started off as reeds and grasses reflected in a pond but then I went a bit mad with the sliders and ended up with this!!!
If you take the scene of the ancient rocks I showed you yesterday, deliberately fracture it and then reassemble the parts, this is one of the results.
if our dreams here are just expressions of our realities elsewhere, then what keeps all of it tethered together? ♥

Having grown up in south Florida, you know, really not knowing what winter was, I truly appreciate experiencing it. Stepping way out of my comfort zone on this one. The starkness of winter, frigid temperatures and atmospheric fog and all, I found this image intriguing, so I snapped away a few. It pretty much sums up the harsh reality of winter within Yellowstone. I love the isolation of being out there at these moments ... as long as I have a warm snow coach waiting for me. LOL
