This is always a wake up call for my students. They see this sign and they start asking all types of questions..."Am I in the right gear? Should I be slower? What lane should I be in? When should I use that?" ..But, for me, it has become 'just another sign' but always gives me a reality check about my job...
Here's a quesion I'd like to hear asked at a presidential debate: "Who is this debate about anyway? You, or us?
...and who gets it?
Remember 'Release the Kraken'? Perhaps, before Trump loosed it, he should have the heeded counsel of Victor Frankenstein, whose creation also turned on him. (Has he ever heeded counsel other than his own?
I believe I have planted in my front yard some Hosta Plantaginea 'Aphrodite'. In 2003 I met Mary Ellen...she is an artist. We dated briefly...one day she went out to a pine tree where a cluster of these Hostas had been growing. She replanted them in a Circular pattern under a pine tree by my Front Porch. They have thrived and bloomed every year since. I never thought much of the Flowers, but the Foliage was perfect under the pine tree. So this year I decided to take a closer look at the flowers...here are my 'August Lily' Series.

With this solution people can take a picture of themselves as if they were actually on the front page of the magazine cover, by choosing a background with typical scenarios, and thanks to kinect technology, they can interact with the screen only by moving their hands.
They can share the picture in social networks.
Augmented reality is still a relatively new technology to many, but understanding how it all works and what it is about will provide you with an insight into how it can enhance the world in which we live. Therefore, few books could be the perfect place to start.
