Richmond 6th graders participated in the REALITY STORE, Friday, May 22, 2009 at the Kuhlman Center in Richmond, Indiana. Reality Store is like a giant game of Life created by the Indiana Federation of Business and Professional Women.
Students look into the future about 15 years. They choose a career, deal with finances, student loans, housing, transportation, insurance, family, and all the other expenses that go along with the real world.
The Reality. While its easy to make beauty this is my reality sometimes : I'm at my desk working with my computer and by me is scrambled eggs, ketchup and mountain do.....don't judge me...please :/
Yet another contradictory standards, drugs are illegal but for religious activities everything is legal and will be sold openly. No one will say anything as its what GOD wants.

Three of Paisley’s young up and coming bands “Shattered Glass, Uncut and Vague Reality” had their fans bouncing along to their sets at Callum’s Cavern on Saturday night with their brand of covers and original music. While Brick Lane studio owner Alan McEwan watched on from the side lines as he and others have been promoting young bands and giving them a place to show of their talents.
For those of you who don’t know, Callum’s Cavern was named after Callum Reid who played drums from for one of Paisley’s biggest punk bands, Defiant pose. Where I was lucky to play along with Callum on bass, like one of many to passed through the band many moons ago. So to see venues like this, giving young bands a hands up is a testament to those who’ve been there and done it like Alan himself.
2016 marked the 5th year for TEDxOhioStateUniversity. This year’s theme, Reconstructing Reality, featured students, faculty, staff, and alumni as speakers and performers who inspired and challenged our concepts of science, technology, history, and life. Workers working to complete a building out in the sun. It's punishing out there, especially during Ramadan when you can't eat or drink till sundown. Most companies introduce Ramadan hours, where you go to work a little later and finish up a little earlier. Alternatively, some places may allow people to work in the evenings, so you can eat and it's cooler. I'm not sure these guys got special treatment though.

This is always a wake up call for my students. They see this sign and they start asking all types of questions..."Am I in the right gear? Should I be slower? What lane should I be in? When should I use that?" ..But, for me, it has become 'just another sign' but always gives me a reality check about my job...
