The middle of the aquarium had it's own bird sanctuary for birds that were injured and could no longer fly. The wing on this little guy was stuck like that. There was another one that would swim in tight little circles.
Been home for almost a month. Been very depressing. I'm organic and my neighbor sprayed my property while I was gone. Big issue in that it could cost me my organic status for the next 3 years. Additionally we could be in court paying lawyers for years.

One of my hard drives is "dieing" for days now, so I developed my most important pictures. The other's will be written on an archive quality DVD later today.
I played a lot with the angles and DOF and this was the best I could get with a minimal setup (50mm, no flash, window as sourcelight.)
Tomorrow I won't post any picture which is part of the #365 set, as I'll work in my studio all day. (Yayy! I'm super excited. Really. =)
PS: I'll try to catch up with myself. Hopefully i'll be able to execute another idea today, If my workmate and co. Norbert agrees. :D
comments are welcome and highly apreciated!

I find I keep coming back to this image over the last year and a half. I've tried enhancing the colors or working with it with various black and white treatments. Nothing I've tried 'spoke' to me. Until this...keeping the reflected view in color and applying a black and white filter to the rest of the piece. It was the 'tension' of the two realities that wouldn't let go of me until I acknowledged them both, I suppose.
