Mercedes Benz S-Guard white low-poly 3d model ready for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), games and other real-time apps.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, formerly known as Sonderklasse (German for "special class", abbreviated as "S-Klasse"), is a series of luxury flagship vehicles produced by the German automaker Mercedes-Benz, a division of German company Daimler AG. The S-Class designation for top-of-the-line Mercedes-Benz models was officially introduced in 1972 with the W116, and has remained in use ever since.

This model is suitable for using in the 3D renderings of architectural visualizations, traffic simulation, games etc. where it doesn't need to use heavy high-polygonal models.

Entering a New World

Mind & Eyes Open

to a New Reality

Chocolate cupcake dipped in ganache with a marshmallow meringue frosting topped with graham crackers from Ivey Cake in Franklin, Tennessee

So the reason I needed an Impldoll Star body was because of John. In his reality, he's 6'6" but his doll is about 69cm....which means I needed a shorter body for Jack, who is the only character I plan on shelling from this story. This was my only option. He's still a little short IMO, but it's better than nothing.

I feel like john is trying hard to communicate something and I'm missing it completely.

This parody originally started out as a digital graphic that I hung up in my area during Artomatic 2009. At that time, there was controversy surrounding the previously wholesome reality series Jon & Kate Plus Eight as both Jon and Kate Gosselin were romantically linked with other people in the celebrity gossip media, which totally blew their previously clean-cut image of being a close-knit and devout Christian couple who were raising their eight children (a set of twins and a set of sextuplets). Their marriage literally imploded on their reality show, which led to increased ratings and a family in ruins.

I patterned the graphic after those inspirational posters that one frequently sees in corporate offices and medical offices (which features a pretty photograph, a single word like "Ambition" or "Success", and an inspirational definition of that word) and I even had it on sale for $5. While I didn’t get any sales, I did get plenty of positive notices in my guest book about that graphic from people telling me how much they love it. I later turned it into a piece of jewelry made out of Shrinky Dinks. I included both a pin backing and a necklace loop so the wearer has the choice of wearing it as either a pendant or a brooch.

Mayor Andy Berke check's out the Chattanooga Public Library's augmented reality sandbox. In celebration of President Obama's National Day of Making on June 18, the Mayor's office, the public library and a selection of community makers hosted the Mayor's Maker Challenge on the 4th Floor, open to the public for demos and hands-on learning and making all morning. The event included photography drones, a banana piano, quad copters, 3D printing, art bikes, fruit-controlled Tetris, an augmented reality sandbox, vinyl sticker making, yarn bombs, LED helium balloons and maze building.

"NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 18, 2014, as National Day of Making. I call upon all Americans to observe this day with programs, ceremonies, and activities that encourage a new generation of makers and manufacturers to share their talents and hone their skills."

"Today, let us continue on the path of discovery, experimentation, and innovation that has been the hallmark not only of human progress, but also of our Nation's progress. Together, let us unleash the imagination of our people, affirm that we are a Nation of makers, and ensure that the next great technological revolution happens right here in America."

This is a photograph from the annual Na Fianna AC "Bob Heffernan" 5KM Road Race and Fun Run which was held in Johnstownbridge, Co. Kildare, Ireland on Tuesday 19th May 2015 at 20:00. The race has gained a glowing reputation as being one of the fastest 5KM road races in Ireland. This race commemorates the years of work and volunteering that local man Bob Heffernan gave to Meath, Leinster, and Irish athletics from grass roots upwards and his work with the host club Na Fianna AC who have a catchment area in this part of rural North Kildare and South Meath. The race, known affectionately by club-members as simply "Bob's race" is a fitting tribute to commemorate his contribution to this sport. Today's race had another very large attendance with over 420 registered participants. There was a wonderful atmosphere as runners from all over Leinster gathered for a great night's racing. The very changeable and unseasonably weather of late made for an unpredictable night weather wise. A shower of hail fell on runners between 2KM and 3KM and yet this shower didn't fall on the finish area at the Hamlet Court Hotel.

This race is part of the annual Meath Road Race League despite the fact that the race is run completely in County Kildare. The Na Fianna club, who organise the race, have a catchment area of South Meath and North West Kildare. The current route for the race has stayed the same over the past few years. However previous to that the race was held in Enfield and also Rathmoylan in County Meath. This road race has grown from strength to strength year on year and is now one of the premier 5KM races in Ireland and one of the top club attended races in Leinster. The race starts on the busy Enfield to Endenderry road and this requires a big effort from stewards and marshalls. However, as always, the event was a resounding success with personal bests and great runs from many of the participants.

We have a large set of photographs from the finish of the race and they are available on our Flickr photostream at www.flickr.com/photos/peterm7/sets/72157653107820532

BUT..... Wait there a minute....

Our only "cost" is that we request that if you are using these images: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, VK.com, Vine, Meetup, Tagged, Ask.fm,etc or (2) other websites, blogs, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you must provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us or acknowledge us as the original photographers.

I want to download these pictures to my computer or device?

You can download this photographic image here directly to your computer or device. This version is the low resolution web-quality image. How to download will vary slight from device to device and from browser to browser. Have a look for a down-arrow symbol or the link to 'View/Download' all sizes. When you click on either of these you will be presented with the option to download the image. Remember just doing a right-click and "save target as" will not work on Flickr.

I want get full resolution, print-quality, copies of these photographs?

If you just need these photographs for online usage then they can be used directly once you respect their Creative Commons license and provide a link back to our Flickr set if you use them. For offline usage and printing all of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available free, at no cost, at full image resolution.

If you really like what we do please spread the link around your social media, send us an email, leave a comment beside the photographs, send us a Flickr email, etc. If you are using the photographs in newspapers or magazines we ask that you mention where the original photograph came from.

I would like to contribute something for your photograph(s)?

Many people offer payment for our photographs. As stated above we do not charge for these photographs. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that the photograph(s) you request are good enough that you would consider paying for their purchase from other photographic providers or in other circumstances we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.

Let's get a bit technical: We use Creative Commons Licensing for these photographs

We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?

The explaination is very simple.

Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.

ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.

Above all what Creative Commons aims to do is to encourage creative sharing. See some examples of Creative Commons photographs on Flickr: www.flickr.com/creativecommons/

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:

►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera

►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set

►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone

►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.

Don't like your photograph here?

That's OK! We understand!

If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.

I want to tell people about these great photographs!

Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably http://www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets

Les Sept doigts de la main

In reality, the road is closed due to the snow and ice in the Catalina Mountains, not because of any snobbery.

The Catalina Highway is a winding two-lane road that leads to a community on top of the mountains called Summerhaven, about thirty miles from and 5000' above this location.

There's no hospital up there (and very few services of any kind, not even a gas station), so if somebody has a life-threatening emergency they have to be transported to a Tucson facility about forty miles away. If the road is a mess and clogged by sightseers, it would be an especially difficult drive. I experienced this somewhat last March when my friend slipped on some black ice and broke his shoulder; we were just halfway up the mountain and there was no snow on the road, but it still took about an hour to cover just twenty miles to the nearest hospital.

The southernmost ski area in the continental US (there's one in Hawaii so they have to make that specific claim) is located on top of the mountain. Ironically, when the skiing conditions are at their best, skiers usually have to wait for a day or two before they can drive up there to experience them.

The augmented reality sandbox is an extremely interactive and tactile way to teach basic concepts in geology and geography in a really interesting way. Any time you can introduce interactive technology into your subject matter, your ability to engage your audience immediately increases. This has been evident with the Augmented Reality Sandbox on the 2nd Floor of the Chattanooga Public Library, having received over 600 visitors in under 2 weeks of being in the public eye.

While there’s lots of potential for hard-line curriculum to be developed around the sandbox, the real and unforeseen potential exists in what the kids themselves come up with. It’s already been used as a device for digital story telling, with kids using the sandbox and its shifting landscape as a platform to develop their own short stories, entirely of their own accord.

The Chattanooga Public Library's sandbox was built by Jake Brown, a 17-year old college sophomore working at the library as a technology projects coordinator. Jake used open source technology designed by specialist Peter Gold of the UC Davis Department of Geology.
