Prompt

The image presents a striking juxtaposition of a man in period attire and a fantastical, steampunk-inspired mechanical boar. The setting is a woodland area in autumn, with fallen leaves carpeting the ground. The overall tone is subdued and slightly melancholic.

In the foreground, a man dressed in what appears to be late 19th or early 20th-century formal clothing stands to the left. He wears a dark top hat, a dark coat, dark trousers, and dark shoes. His hands are in his pockets, and he's looking towards the mechanical boar, his expression seemingly contemplative or perhaps slightly apprehensive.

The mechanical boar dominates the center and right side of the image. It appears to be built around the frame of a real boar, with its head and fur still visible. The body, however, is encased in a large, dark metal contraption. This structure includes what resembles a boiler, various gears, pipes, and other mechanical components. The boar's legs are also covered with dark material, possibly leather or canvas, giving the impression of gaiters or protective coverings. The metal has a weathered appearance, with areas of rust or discoloration, suggesting age and use.

The contrast between the natural, organic elements (the man, the trees, the boar's head and fur, the fallen leaves) and the artificial, mechanical elements of the boar's apparatus creates a surreal and intriguing scene. The overall impression is one of a fantastical, perhaps alternate historical setting, where technology has intertwined with nature in an unusual way.

I used envelopes I picked up at an antique mall and fashioned one into a pocket for a tag. I wanted to tie the envelopes in with my word for the year (MOVE) so I made it a travel theme.

Here it is pulled out...I used an envelope and letter that was posted from Hong Kong in the 1950s. The airplane was printed on the inside of the envelope! The card in the middle is the back of Andrea Joseph's postcard.

Vignweek 2023 is here with the first day’s prompt of Disney 100. Big Hero Six is one of my favorite movies so it was a perfect choice. Stretching into new territories with decay and replicating a specific scene from a movie.

For those who don’t know, Vignweek is hosted by Rebellug and is a weeklong competition with a brand new prompt every day and only 24 hours to build each one. This was completed in about 7 hours.

Prompt in DALL-E

Enhance the image of a historical book titled "Old Paris - The Seine". The book is open with elaborate and intricate 3D images springing out from the pages, vividly depicting scenes of the Seine in old Paris, with rich details and textures. The emerging images are surrounded by a denser mist, contributing to a mysterious and enchanting atmosphere. The background is dark and moody, contrasting with the bright, lifelike 3D illustrations. The ultra-realistic overall composition is replete with fine details that offer an immersive glimpse into the historical life by the Seine.

When I read the prompt I knew exactly which photo I would like to use, the only problem was I didn't have a printed copy but I did have negatives. It was before my digital days so I trekked to the photo store to get a print and because I wanted matte, I couldn't get it until tomorrow. Too late for LOAD. So I switched gears and picked another photo--that I couldn't find. While I was looking for the second photo, I found the this one. Funny how things work out because this is truly my favorite photo and all the more precious because I know someday it will probably become faded. Glad to finally have it preserved so I can enjoy it while it lasts. I love LOAD!

Prompt: Create a 19th century photograph of a Civil War soldier laid on a photography table, with the figure emerging from the photograph in a three-dimensional bas relief.

PROMPT:

Capture the exquisite essence of a stunning 18 - year - old skinny girl as the photographer Evgeny Matveev will do it - in an award - winning, dramatic, and visually striking close - up photograph. She is a lovely nerdy girl with a cheeky sweet smile. Indoor scene - Another tent in the bedouin camp, showing two young touareg girls - girl talking. Donning a very worn blue second-hand mesh clothes with many holes and rather torn grunge-like style. I prefers using caramel, and also considers flint, pebble, white, corn and 'muted colors'. Please draw inspiration from the styles of Zdzisław Beksiński, as well as abstract expressionism. Each image should be of high quality and suitable for international art magazines.

And this is the end result. Not bad despite the sprinkle deluge. ;)

Everyone seemed to be taking selfies and photo's at the magic tree (as you would if you decided to make the trip there) and E asked if we could take a family selfie. My heart jumped for joy. We got a few and then he promptly asked how to use the camera so he could take one of just himself...
