Essa semana começou meu curso de fotografia para câmeras DSLR, promovido pela Faculdade de Comunicação da Universidade Federal da Bahia e essa foi a primeira aula prática na Praça do Campo Grande aqui em Salvador.
Part of my project 52. Week 24. Theme: 'Friends'.
My friend was visiting and regardless of how much I despise his smoking habits, he won't be the same without a pack of cigarettes, placed nicely on the table as he explains economics to me.
Joe is a great guy. Has lived in Phoenix for the past 40 years and seems to love Cafe Lola's coffee shop. This is where I first met him and ran into him there the next day after the shoot.
Fewer Student Cases of SAD Reported During Mild New England Winter of 2012
Students at Yale University seem happier this winter and researchers suggest the cause could be record-breaking temperatures across Connecticut during much of January and early February. With temperatures reaching 65˚ on February 2nd, Yale campus was filled with fun-in-the sun activities; from Frisbee, to football, to dog-walking. Students have been spending more of their free time playing outdoors in the sunshine – and staying happy as a result!
Really wanted to spend some time working on some Macro shots. This was taken on our deck, using my Tamaron 28-300 mm Macro lens. I never noticed the water until viewing the picture on my PC.
I added the aircraft to the picture taken at Albert dock, Liverpool. A bit of fun for project 52.
Week 18
This couple were great. When I asked them if I took take their picture, they didn't hesitate to step up against the seamless.
Week 4 of 52 (a little late) BB is about 6 months old...her legs and tail are long...I think she'll be a BIG kitty.
I took this last week after looking at the upcoming schedule. Had a little extra time with the bad weather. I took advantage of the "extra" time and painted my toenails, which is when I got my idea for these shots. A different take on the Valentine theme I guess.
De glasbak bestaat 40 jaar. Rotterdam viert dit met een gouden exemplaar op de Binnenrotte voor de ingang van de Markthal in Rotterdam
[Technique] = Was trying out my new lens 70-200 and took it out to the pond. No animals to capture, but at least wanted to try out the "rule of thirds" with the little island of trees across the water. Here, the water reflection was the bottom third while the tress took the top two thirds.
Though clicked on 30/12/10, got the sd-card today by courier. A little processing and here it is.
P.S. The laptop is amazing.
Picture 1 of the Project52 Series My name is John, but you can also call me Jack, JFK, Lancer or Kennedy. I can inhabit as various shapes as I have names. This one is a doll and trough it I will travel trough the year. Some say that I once was the most powerful man of the world. I was surely one of those with the most responsibility, but I think that the notion of power is over estimated.
As I once said: We have to choose whether we use power or if power uses us.
I always understood the world as a whole, long before the "one-world" notion became common. "The ultimate truth is the vulnerability of this planet".
On the Photo beyond, I tried not to pose like the infamous "great Dictator" ;-) Rather than than that, I got down on my knees. I did never bent down before anyone, but I was always willing to do so for the Planet.
