While in Austin, TX, I stayed in the coolest hotel on Rainey Street–Hotel Van Zandt. Along with its laid back hipster vibes and free happy hour, it had some of the coolest hotel design vibes i've ever seen. I loved these bikes for rent in the lobby. I wish I could have taken one for a spin.

There's something about having a Christmas tree in the house that always makes me feel so cozy. Every year I am eager to get my decorations out and put my tree up. This year marks the earliest we've ever gotten one–the week before Thanksgiving (I just couldn't wait!). We love our little tree this year. It is the first thing I turn on when I come home and the last thing I turn off before I leave. Trying to make this cozy feeling last for as long as I can.

I do not like portraits, I do not like to have them in my photostream, and I hoped this was the last task of this kind for the 52-weeks project. Then I saw a "high key portrait" task for the upcoming weeks. I really hope that it will be the LAST portrait for this project or I will have to give up the project.
Semaine 8: Moments fugitifs
Moment repeated for years, since its 3 years. She has 14, and I enjoy these last moments when I accompany her to school. In a short time, her travel will be different ...
When you're taking macro photos, but see a pair of cardinals in the snow and have to switch out extension tubes, but forget to change settings! *facepalm*
Thank goodness for camera RAW!

Week 13
There we go with week 13. Sorry for the lame-o description but I have to go. The final of the Africa Cup of Nations is today and I'll be watching it with some friends. Need to get ready! I'll get back later in the day to update the description. I'll be cheering for Côte d'Ivoire!!!
Well for week 13 the theme is Valentine's Day!
Arf Zambia won the championship. Congrats to their team. They play well but they just ruined my day!
So I don't feel like writing more on this. LOL
Have a nice week friends.

Think this little one thought Christmas had come early. A whole coconut full of food freshly put out and he was the only one around to enjoy it all. I'm sure he was truly astounded.
Hats for every occasion for sale on my holiday to Ibiza. Has to use my point and shoot for this weeks theme but used the panoramic feature with a few minor blips.
This is my very first digital camera, a Kodak Easy Share with a whopping 4 megapixels.
I gave it to my son a while ago as I didn't use it anymore and he was always watching me taking pictures with my DSLR. Unfortunately, it stopped working not long after (it wasn't his fault by the way).
For this weeks theme "Camera" I wanted to see what was inside it...so I x-rayed it! Simple!

If you've looked through my stream, you'll know this is one of my favourite locations. Given all the water on the floor, and the fact this self references week 6, I couldn't resist. Enough to overlook a slight blur.

The days are definitely getting lighter. There's a peek of sunset and some deep blue skies still at 5:20.

It's kind of a tradition for Ethan to grab a Krispy Kreme doughnut when we go into Birmingham shopping. An excellent festive spirit there despite the hustle and bustle of last minute panic buying!
This years 52 is almost at an end!
