Went to the bridal shop to put in my order for my bridesmaid dress for Daniel and Jess' wedding coming up on 14 March.

I found this little guy lying on the ground by some graffiti.

After a hike up to the Lake Louise tea house, we stopped for photos and lunch. We held a brisk pace, an hour fifteen minutes from the trail head to the tea house.

Well, now I have proof that Ian is definitely my child :: look at this mess (and this is only about 75% of the room)!

Look -- I have a torso! Maya is finally learning to draw bodies (with clothes + buttons). Maybe next month I'll get some pants ...

Day 236: I wanted to get my picture out of the way early today so i took a picture of one of my calphalon pots. It was way too hot to attempt a picture outside.

My company signed a really big contract at the end of last week so the bosses took us out for a nice lunch at Kings Fish House. I had the "Hazelnut crusted Chilean Salmon" and some sushi. Very good!

Wonder pets, Wonder pets! We’re on our way

17/04/2010 Beautifull as ever and none the worse for a touch of foreground interest. We stumbled upon the Lotus Show at the Three Counties Showground on our afternoon walk and had a great time admiring a lot of fabulous cars that were on display. The burnt orange Evora was our favourite but in truth there was a lot to admire!

Groovy word of the day: serendipity.

Mom's Valentines roses (this is the only one not wilting yet). Day 20

[2011-03-03] Slightly east of Ebbw Vale station. To the eagle-eyed, yes, there is a trend here - I do catch the train from Ebbw Vale in the morning. Next up - the ticket machine.

Eu tava assim: toda linda, toda gostosa (Júlia quem falou isso), ganhei esse par de sandálias da Júlia minutos antes dessa foto. Mas tava de sorriso amarelo. Porque? Simples: o pai do Emanoel resolveu levar a família pra viajar bem nessa noite. Aí eu tava linda, gostosa, e sem par pra dançar e beijar na boca. E eu sou moçoila fiel. Até na dança!

We waited for the light

A cold evening calls for a huddling around the lava-lamp.

183/365 Tuesday 2 July 2013 - Mum bought me this plant on a recent trip to some gardens - forget where. She knows I love purple and it is adding a welcome splash of colour in the sitting room. I leave the care of it to her as she's good with these.

How about we not discuss the ethics of a chinese knockoff of a Markins/RRS/Arca Swiss, etc. tripod ballhead, it was like 60$ shipped instead of 300$ or so... Working great so far. Worlds better than the 3 way manfrotto head I was using (at least in ease of use for setting up and locking down for a shot)

The smallest amount of snow caused total chaos!

2013 - 189/365 - Sale

I was trying to get a night shot of the highway, with cars streaking by and stuff like that. I've found some things to go by next time.

A. Shooting from a moving car...no go.

B. Need to read the manual again on night photography.

Today's Project 365 pic is of a mosaic wall at a school I was working in today.

The mosaic wall itself was rather large, but this face caught my attention.

Day 188 - The cabin that we stayed at in Richfield.

Project365 - #19

Just trying stuff out for 'The World Through My Eyes' object competion. This week it's a shot of a single watch. Definetely needs more work!
