I thought this was a fun image. The black and white film really draws the attention to the shapes of the flowers in the basket.

331/365 Thursday 27 November 2014 - I stir fried the left over steak from yesterday that Chief and I saved from lunch. It was delicious with a sweet chilli and ginger sauce.
These are some of the palm trees in my neighborhood. I messed with temperature, tint, and sharpness. A few of my students say it makes it looks like it's under water.
After a number of emails bounced back and forth between myself and Easyjet Customer Service, I have finally admitted defeat...
It seems that had we stayed out in Paris in April, they would have been obliged to refund our hotel and subsistance costs and loss of earnings for the duration of our extension. Unfortunately, at the time we didn't know this as we were unable to make contact with anyone in Customer Service. So we made alternative, rather expensive travel arrangements. As a result Easyjet only have to refund the cost of our cancelled flight and extra hotel stay, but not the cost of our rail tickets...
A bit harsh I feel, as we are claiming far less than we would have been able to had we remained in Paris until flights were resumed.
for the longest time after my return from Japan, where i met my biological mother for the first time in over two decades, the only memorabilia i had of that trip were these two japanese dolls i bought at the tokyo international airport.
in the background is a picture of me and jason in college. he had just returned from spring break in cancun bearing gifts: tequila and shot glasses.
both memories are so close to my heart, it's only fitting that they're in prominent display on my bookshelf.

Out for a short walk, just over to the corner shop. I bought some tiny kitkat bites and they were yum.

#project365 Day5
What a day. Slept in, had a nice walk with my dog, Canela and drove to Hyde Park. Spent all day scoping out the beautiful city and looking for places to live. Everything is so close, and the ppl are so friendly!!
With my iPhone on camera mode all day, I took this picture by mistake among tons more and thought it was perfect for the occasion. :)

Because Fridays are now officially dress up your dog days. I have decided. I think I should make it a theme where every Friday I put him in a different outfit.
