This is the first of my #project365 photos with me in it! :)

This photo was taken on the 11th of January, I have just been a little bust and pre-occupied over the past couple of days with the current flooding here in Brisbane, as well as Central Queensland and through Queensland's Outback.

So, this photo is Jackson and I playing the wii. The game is Rugby League 3 and Jackson LOVES it... He's getting better at the game too but he HATES being beaten... and i REFUSE to let the Raiders get beaten, so games where I'm the Raiders are very difficult balancing game between me not wanting the Raiders to lose and Jackson's frustration.

The game was Jackson and Kylie's present to me for Christmas... It's a great Christmas presie!

We walked over to the nearby Irish pub to watch the Hungarian team play against Iceland at the European soccer championship, while I knitted some more of my sister's hat. It was a nerve-wracking game that ended in 1-1, placing Hungary at the top of the group.

i don't like snow, or winter, but taking photos of the boys playing in it makes it bearable.

Nov. 12, 2007: Four more sleeps.

There's nothing quite like the first morning light.

These are our Black Yucatan Mollies living in our 55 gallon aquarium with 20 other little fish.

A slight detour on the way home - found some interesting hidden away places but in the end was a sucker for the river shot. London's very pretty by night. It's frickin' cold though. ... Posted via email from Musings + Project 365

"About Face" - Day #16 of 365.

This guy begs for black & white. sorry peeps, can't help it!

This was never intended to be my Project365 image for today, but I ran out of time and had to pick something I shot today. This was a high ISO test I was doing during a walk around the block with my daughter. Straight from the camera, then converted in LR to JPG. No adjustments. Better than my D300s can handle but still leaves room for improvement.

Day105 , Project365

I never seem to have a long enough lens to get a good picture of the ducks in our neighborhood pond. I'll also have to go back tomorrow with some gloves and a trash bag...people are slobs.

After looking over my images from today, I really like this composition better than the daffodil I uploaded earlier. There’s a nice balance between the dog and the empty bench which implies a connection.

Valentine/Chinese New Year Tree at Asia Nine, where I went for some post-bday drinks with two cute ladies. Everyone else there was decked out in craziness for the Lady Gaga concert!

I took a quite liberal view of birth-DAY this year, but 30-year-olds get to do what they want, is what I hear.

After a thorough cleaning of everything and adding some pre-cycled water...my daughter has a new tenant.

When I moved into this place FIVE years ago, I said to my husband that "I can't live with this kitchen for very long, it's got to go ASAP"

Unfortunately, life got in the way. A wedding and a baby scuppered my plans.

BUT, I spent today clearing out my kitchen in readiness for the kitchen fitters who are coming tomorrow to give me a shiny new kitchen (small bounce of excitement) Only five years too late, lol.

Jun 11 - Spied this gorgeous Baltimore Oriole picking the ripest of berries from a tree in the Fenway Victory Gardens. I'd been told there is a nest nearby...I did not find it, but I'm guessing he was bringing the berries to it.

my old brainbook and new brainbook. first (left) is covered moleskine; second (right) is a hardcover i made in a workshop last june. this is how i keep "organized."

My "lucky purse frog" returns! No longer content to rest comfortably on my jeans he is now engaged in a valiant struggle climbing up a piece of driftwood. Why? Oh, he does not give up his secrets so easily...
