Today's Project 365 photo is a public service announcement.
Charge the batteries for your DSLR before you go out to do some night shots, or you will go home disapointed and end up using your iPhone to take photos of flat batteries.
... oh .... and don't leave your camera bag at home which has your spare batteries in it.

#project365 day249 another productive day at work! Afterwards, I went straight to the supermarket to buy a cake for mom and other goodies for dinner, then headed home to be with her. After dinner we facetimed my siblings, one cousin and two unkles to sing happy birthday, it turned into a cyber birthday. Mom loved it! Technology rocks! (Most of the time anyway, lol)

This is why Project365 is so difficult for me to maintain....This is the level of disorganization I have in my camera bag. My life is not much different.
Project365 Day 199: We went bowling with friends today. The PA system played bad 90s music. It felt like home. :)
So the Romans called the 15th The "Ides'" for some unknown, Romanish reason. Caeser didn't make it to the end of the day, thus cutting short that year's Project365 for him, for he was a keen photographer.
Day 147: Went over to our friends memorial day/shipping out BBQ and his daughter really like the camera and kept bringing me stuff to take pictures of.
I recently bought a used Nikkor 24mm lens. It's a great exercise in doing everything in the manual mode. No autofocus, no bells, no whistles. As I practice my zone focusing skills, I'm always amazed at the various mental zones that people enter when they are on the bus or subway. Here's an example.
A scene you don't see very often within SF. We don't have that many large gas stations and fast food chains in the city limits.
Sinds twee weken deel ik samen met een collega een kleine Odin groentetas. Na jaren ongezond eten en nauwelijks zelf koken, vond ik het tijd om daar verandering in te brengen, en zo'n groentetas is dan best wel ideaal. Je hebt de helft van de ingredienten al in huis, je krijgt er recepten bij en er staan nog veel meer recepten op de site.
Dit is dus winterpostelein met hazelnoten en geitenkaas. Kan me niet heugen dat ik ooit eerder winterpostelein heb gehad, maar deze salade smaakte prima.
En na vorige week ben ik ook al helemaal lyrisch over pastinaakpuree met boursin.
Tot nu toe bevalt het, en eet ik opeens allerlei groenten die ik nog nooit eerder heb gehad. Het is een klein wonder :))

Day 44: MY orginal idea was to have one chair balancing on its back two legs with nothing around it, however the chair i was trying to balance would not cooperate for very long. So i used two chairs. This is a shot looking down from the seat side of one of the chairs into the other chairs seat.
No time for any "artistic" attempts at photography today but I did make my television debut this evening. You can see how well I did (or didn't do) on my blog: www.lapommedeportland.com
Day 149 of Project 365. My Aunt Lisa and Uncle Richard celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday. My uncle had a BBQ to celebrate Memorial Day and the anniversary celebration was a surprise for Lisa. Needless to say, Lisa was surprised!
This is probably going to stand as record for the most cake pictures in one week for me. May was a very good and tasty month!
