I am always keeping my eyes open for pretty buildings that might be acceptable reception locations. We see this all the time but never knew what it was. I walked past it today, and we will not be having our reception in this columbarium. According to Wikipedia, a columbarium is a place for the respectful and usually public storage of cinerary urns (i.e. urns holding a deceased’s cremated remains). The term comes from the Latin columba (dove) and originally referred to compartmentalized housing for doves and pigeons.

Our company put up a team for a quiz night in support of the local hospice. We entered last time and came 3rd. I was pleased to see the return of the huge pile of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. I was more bold about going up and eating them this time round!
This was really not my day. But thankfully every time I walk into my room and see that work of art from Sarah, I can't help but feel a little better.
Book Club was breaking up but everyone was still talking and enjoying themselves. I love this group of girls.
one of the minor squares in downtown Vienna, Minoritenplatz. Not as crowded as the rest of the city centre, yet a wonderful architectural ensemble.
I took advantage of my free time on Evan's first day of zoo camp to go to Ballard. I needed to find an anniversary card for Steve, and I took some pictures of quirky things in shop windows while I was out. These were in the window of the cooking store.

Chip got a bit tired after chasing the ducks and keeping an eye on them. He totally loved to be outside whole day. Here he resides in the shadows.
Having left work tonight rather closer to 10 o'clock than I prefer, the last thing I felt like doing was taking a photo. Thankfully this presented itself in the loos on the way out.
