Today's Project 365 pic was taken in Eureka Stockade Park.
I like this lake, so this is the best angle to see it from at the moment.
If you picture a construction site over your right shoulder, you can get the full experience.
The Eureka Centre is undergoing a revamp at the moment so most of the hillside has been carved out to accommodate the new additions.
Somebody's frozen handwork on display at Vancouver's new Convention Centre on a snowy Winter weekend.

Project365 Day 125: Bottles of wine from Cappadocia. Well... a magnet of wine bottles from Cappadocia. :)
I haven't been to the Palisades Hotel in Sydney. In fact, it doesn't even look like it's open anymore. I think it used to be a bit of a dodgy pub (having never been there I don't know where I got this idea) but it's definitely one with one of the best views in Sydney. Looking out over the harbour towards Balmain and beyond. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's headed for apartment-ville.
I picked up my new camera today--a Canon 5D Mark II. I was in front of my vanity mirror trying to get a picture of it when my son stuck his head in and wanted a picture too. So today's shot is for him. I have been having so much fun with my new camera that I am very behind on actually posting shots!
It's official, everybody is gone, since last October we were having people around us at home, carla and juli, then my brother and jose, going and coming. December the moth that everybody was staying at home, silvia, daniel, mama, valeria, juanma, the two families traveling around NZ.
Once again the house is quiet but we do not know for how long...
Day 30: Get Well Daddy
I must have caught the stomach bug that Pamela had two weeks ago. Woke up with a horrible headache and spent the morning throwing up. I had two great nurses, slept a lot, listened to "The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" and feel much better this evening. And like my wife, I got a beautiful card from my daughter. My photo was going to be the toilet since I spent so much time with it today, but thought this was nicer.
IMG_6868 yesterday there was a terrific bank of clouds -but no camera -today not remotely as impressive at exactly the same time!
So, at my previous employer (<2011) had this really cool Godzilla toy on my desk shelves. When I started at my new company, I never migrated my toys or pictures. I found the box in which I had all of that stuff stored!!!! The building sits on a platform that will break the building into pieces when Godzilla attacks.
Today's theme is Pets. I have had many pets over the years. In fact, up until last year we had five pets - Hedgehog, Gecko, Bearded Dragon, African Water Frog and the cat. Now we're just down to the Bearded Dragon and cat.
This is my sometimes sweet but often bratty kitty Zoey. She is really more my daughter's cat but she somewhat tolerates the rest of us. I say she wasn't tolerating having her picture taken and kept on giving me the evil eye.
Day 159 - 23 May 2012
She had a lovely time floating on the cloud. But then she realised she was cold and decided it was time to go back to earth.
We're Here: Feeling Blue

"Rings on her fingers and bells on her toes
She shall have music wherever she goes."
Songs I listen to on repeat: Jem "24", Dandy Warhols "Bohemian Like You" Nikka Costa "Everybody Got Their Something" and Black Crowes "Hard To Handle"
Had such an amazing eveing of photography (taking a workshop with Greg Gorman) that I almost forgot to take a picture tonight. This was out My sun roof at a stoplight on my way home.
uhummm..so yeah..this storage tower is really leaning...REALLY. And, no, its not the blue portfolio case on the side because I take that away..and its still leaning. hahaha I thought it was funny. I really should fix it before it breaks and half of my craft supplies are on the floor!
...and yes...this room is waaaayyy too blue! I am taking care of that this summer!
