Today's Project 365 pic was taken in Eureka Stockade Park.
I like this lake, so this is the best angle to see it from at the moment.
If you picture a construction site over your right shoulder, you can get the full experience.
The Eureka Centre is undergoing a revamp at the moment so most of the hillside has been carved out to accommodate the new additions.
Project365 Day 125: Bottles of wine from Cappadocia. Well... a magnet of wine bottles from Cappadocia. :)
This is a shot from the Bothell 4th of July parade. I had a lot of choices for the shot for the day but I felt this was the best one. The crescent composition encircles these two and leads your eye to them while finding other interesting things along the way. The women's head breaking the negative space is what makes this an interesting image for me and the gesture of these two people is so wonderful I was lucky to capture it. This is the closest image I've shot to a Henri Cartier-Bresson who I admire greatly.
I haven't been to the Palisades Hotel in Sydney. In fact, it doesn't even look like it's open anymore. I think it used to be a bit of a dodgy pub (having never been there I don't know where I got this idea) but it's definitely one with one of the best views in Sydney. Looking out over the harbour towards Balmain and beyond. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's headed for apartment-ville.
Day 105: I decided to venture outside today to take some pictures, though limiting my travels to the stairways of my building because the rain and cold. When i saw this sprinkler head i thought of cross processing it, b.c of the red and green oxidation.
However I played with some selective color processing and decided to go with my initial thought on which to use.
It seemed like a good idea, but when we got there, it smelled of chip fat, so we didn't bother! Oh the joys of service stations on the A1 day#31
These are the power lines behind the building where I work. Before going into my car at the end of the day, I snapped this photo of the power lines. The overcast sky above made for a smooth background

Today, my girlfriend's sister got a new haircut and I wanted to take a picture of her. Luckily, she agreed! I think her hair looks great.

12/23/15 - I'm finished with the last of the cookies that I am making for Christmas. These are my Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles.
An evening conference call with colleagues in China which ran twice as long as planned has resulted in tonight's last-minute photo. A disclaimer is that this is not "artwork" we have placed in a prominent place in our house. It was lying in a corner of the basement and has "Birthday Express" stamped on the bottom of it. ^_^
IMG_6868 yesterday there was a terrific bank of clouds -but no camera -today not remotely as impressive at exactly the same time!
