Kylemore Abbey is a Benedictine Monastery founded in 1920 on the grounds of Kylemore Castle, in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland. The Abbey was founded for Benedictine nuns who fled Belgium in World War 1. Today the abbey, under The Kylemore Trust, continues its mission as a Benedictine monastery, holding Kylemore and its spiritual mission, natural and built heritage in trust for the Irish nation. It's also one of Ireland's leading visitor attractions.
I was stopped in my tracks by this window display on Jermyn Street, London. Do men still shave like this?! Well, at Taylor of Old Bond Street, shaving is raised to an art form. Shaving essentials – creams, brushes, razors, lotions and potions will help the discerning man achieve a perfect shave. As I've aged, I think I've become less discerning.
Pre-Dawn, iPhone 11 ProMax Night Vision - No Edits - only opened in Photoshop to convert HEIC to JPG. Couldn't figure how to do it in camera. Tweaking produces some beautiful additional results, but I wanted to show an unedited image.

Our hotel, The Stafford London, has a wine cellar that doubled as an air-raid shelter during World War II. Besides all the bottles of wine, there are a number of displays and a lot of memorabilia from the war.

Week No. 28: “Look Up ⬆️”
Category: Creative!
This started as an experiment with an iPhone image taken while were out to dinner and edited on the iPad in Photoshop on the iPad. I got so far and wasn't really liking where it was going and pulled it into regular Photoshop on my computer. Still not liking it, I just played in Photoshop and Topaz Studio 2. Not so photogenic for 52 Weeks of 2024, but it shall be my submission for the theme.

And a look into the kitchen. I got together with a couple friends at Toad's Coffeehouse in Grand Ledge this morning, and (with Joe's encouragement) caught this photo before we opened that door.
until the great solar eclipse in the US. It would be wonderful if the sky were this good on Monday, April 8. Forecasts are still "iffy" at best. This is Walborn Reservoir near Alliance, Ohiol

"Its soft and craggy boglands; its tall majestic hills. Where the ocean kisses Ireland and the waves caress its shore." This is Renvyle; bicycling along the beautiful Connemara Coast, County Galway.
“Theologians call faith a sure but obscure habit (habitus) of the soul;” obscure, because “it brings us to believe divinely revealed truths that transcend every natural light and infinitely exceed all human understanding. As a result, the excessive light of faith bestowed on a soul is darkness for it; a brighter light will eclipse and suppress a dimmer one.” “So the light of faith suppresses and overwhelms that of the intellect through its abundance. For the intellect, by its own power, extends only to natural knowledge.”

On the bank of the canal outside our home are countless thickets of Fern (Fern Shaw) and, at the moment, are showing many varied colours, yellow, oranges, reds, yellow, browns and even still some greens.
Umber is a natural earth pigment consisting of iron oxide and manganese oxide; it has a brownish color that can vary among shades of yellow, red, and green.
