This print is from a series I did using some mix-n-match woodblocks that I had previously only done in color, printed specifically for a black & white juried show called Color Restrained. The two I submitted, the first two in the image, both got into the show.

I (the spooner half of spoonergregory) started cutting my Neodymium block today - the metal is used to colour enamels and glass so I based my design on Art Nouveau enamel jewellery and stained glass. I've never done lettering before - my hands are still aching from the pressure!

A few more photos of the elements used to lock up a chase for letterpress printing.
This shows the 7" x 11" (inside dimensions) cast iron chase, wooden furniture, quoins, key and Boxcar base. The only reason I'm using the wooden "£" is because it's more fun. When it's time to print, I'll use photopolymer plates mounted to the base on the left.
