blind embossed linocut print on golden hand colored cotton paper

40x55cm

2012.

An art student finishes a print that she had been working on for half a semester.

one section of the wall, next to my closet of storage, is covered in (mostly) prints. that is to say that printmaking has attacked my wall. these are prints from my portfolio, or (the smaller ones, 6x6 and 4x4 inches) are from various trades i have been in.

the small ones, the4x4 inchers, are my FAV swaps. this is only 2 sets of FAVs. i'm not sure where the other 2 are hiding. i have my suspicions! (ie, in a box awaiting transport from Georgia.

tonight i'm going to hit a couple openings, and soak up some creative vibes. more of my portfolio will be hittin' the walls just as soon as i dig out some things!
