The Europa Point Lighthouse, also referred to as the Victoria Tower, was built in 1841 at Gibraltar's southernmost point, rising 161 feet above sea level. The lighthouse is the only such building outside of the United Kingdom which is operated by Trinity House, a lighthouse agency based in England.

Point Edmund

In 1941, Lt. Charles Wilkes USN of the U.S. exploring expedition named this point of land "Point Edmund," presumably in honor of his son. Although it was later officially named "Edwards Point," the earlier name continued after the city of Edmonds was incorporated in 1890.

This marker placed here September 1992 by the Edmonds South Snohomish County Historical Society.

Meigs Point, Hammonasset Beach, Madison, Connecticut after the blizzard, February 2013

Built in 1866, replacing several buildings in the block that were destroyed by a fire in 1862. The buildings were constructed by Richard and Colan Goldsworthy, who were Cornish stone masons that emigrated to Mineral Point. The block has housed a variety of retail establishments over the years.

Cleveland Point Light, also known as Point Cleveland Light, is a lighthouse located on the north-eastern tip of Cleveland Point, at Cleveland, a suburb approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) east-south-east of Brisbane, Australia. It overlooks Moreton Bay to the east and Raby Bay to the west. The original lighthouse was established in 1864-1865 as a wooden hexagonal tower. It is one of only two surviving lighthouses of this form, the other being Old Burnett Heads Light.[2] A newer light, constructed of a concrete post, replaced it in 1976, and the original lighthouse was relocated a short distance away, where it stands today. The newer light was removed in 2009.

By far the cleanest and the best beach I've come across so far in Southern California. There were maybe a total of 10 people on the beach. Absolutely clean and somewhat secluded. To get there requires a minimal walk down a dirt trail and steep staircase. The water is so clean you can actually see through it! And I found out that the last scene in the orginal "planet of the apes" where the statue of liberty was sticking out of the sand was shot on the far side of the beach.

Seen flying over Cypress Point Park on its final approach to Tampa International Airport (TPA) is an Airbus A321 of GlobalX, a charter airline headquartered in Miami. The aircraft is one of two A321s operated by GlobalX. It also flies eight A320s and a single A319.

Flight GX3393 originated in Havana: FlightAware records that the aircraft returned there after a 2-hour layover at TPA.

There was some dense trees off one of the paths at Silver Lake, I decided since there was a lot of traffic on the path I was going to move off the path to not be in the way, as I was looking up, taking a deep breath, I saw the tops of the trees.. Now usually I would've just carried on my way, but there was something spectacular about how the little hole they created at the top was letting through the light, I went for it, knowing that this little window of light wouldn't last long, same in life, when there is a window and you know you have to take the chance, do it.

"The Tenggerese with their handsome horses ready to provide an easy ride to sunrise watchers for a fee of IDR100,000 and IDR50,000, ascending and descending respectively. The climb starts at circa 2.30 am and the route was rather steep and exhaustive that could leave many panting in the thin air and chilling temperature."

Seruni Point is one the two vista points at Mount Pananjakan of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park consisting a massif of volcanic complex.
