I got this picture at Hurricane Point on Highway 1. This is looking north towards Carmel.

A little blurry but it turned out well!

Yaki point in the morning. A moderate disappointment since it was cloudy. Still a beautiful place. I tried to push things pretty far on this photo to get good grain

We took the longcut on Cannery Point to admire the view.

Enjoying the warm sun at Point Fermin Park

Family Day Monday road trip to the southernmost point of mainland Canada, Point Pelee National Park. Thanks to the freeze, I think the tip of the ice may actually be off the end of the sand spit and we were on Lake Erie at times!

Gibralter Point South Skegness Lincolnshire

For the first time at such an overlook like this. It's like being in a plane and seeing small houses, villages, fields and forests from the window; here it was similar with the only difference: no life, no human beings or their artifacts below us...

Just one of hundreds of surprising rock piles in this surreal spot.

Point Richmond CA

Quite a change from the southern point in Barbados.

Soon to be added outdoor pool, for now this area makes a good place to catch some morning rays.

Cool views in our beautiful city while delivering stunning flowers

Point Bonita, Marin Headlands

It looks pretty unimpressive here, even when viewed at original size, but when you're there in person, it definitely stands out. And when I climb atop it, it seems like it could be the highest point in the river valley, here.

It's off the path and I don't see many people near it when I go to the park, but it always draws me. It can be both wild or peaceful up there, sometimes simultaneously. I love it up there. It's where I took these shots from.

This image was made from 6 shots taken from the first bridge on the main falls path.

Volunteers are needed! We can certainly use volunteers of all ages and ability to help us cleanup our community, the environment and the Chesapeake Bay! Please mark your calendars for our cleanup of the Historic Bread and Cheese Creek on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Rain or Shine, we clean up the section of Historic Bread and Cheese Creek from the Berkshire Area to North Point Road. Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. This event will be run in conjunction with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Annual Project Clean Stream and American River’s Nation River Cleanup as well as Reclaim the Bay! We have also attached an event flyer for your use.

We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them

Volunteers are also needed to arrive early and stay late for setup and break down. Photographers and Videographers also needed!

"The Point Reyes" -- name of an old, beached boat on Tomales Bay, CA

8" x 12" oil on canvas board

from a photo I took 5-6 years ago.

Pretty sure there should be an apostrophe in that title somewhere. Problem is I don't know if the lady in question was called Maguire or Maguires.

What turned out great was where they had the fireworks at this year. Jason's company built this timber framed piece for Point Mallard Aquatic Center!
