Here is a pic of Point Reyes Lighthouse. This one has 308 steps that go down onto the ledge where the light is located. The view from this lighthouse is also very scenic.

A long distance shot of Point Bonita Lighthouse just outside the Golden Gate and San Francisco. A still functioning lighthouse although maritime guidance is enhanced with additional GPS, radio beacons, etc. these days. Prior to the Bonita Lighthouse being built (??) and moved to this location in 1877, there were dozens of ships that sank in the fog trying to navigate into San Francisco Bay.
Illuminated in 1855, it is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the West Coast. Automated in 1975.
237 Morgan Street, Algiers Point, New Orleans. First house in the neighborhood rebuilt after the Great Algiers Fire of 1895. Residence of jazz legend Emmett Hardy, 1919-1923. Still has many vintage fixtures.
