A stormy day at Makahuena Point in Poipu, the southernmost tip of Kauai.

A long distance shot of Point Bonita Lighthouse just outside the Golden Gate and San Francisco. A still functioning lighthouse although maritime guidance is enhanced with additional GPS, radio beacons, etc. these days. Prior to the Bonita Lighthouse being built (??) and moved to this location in 1877, there were dozens of ships that sank in the fog trying to navigate into San Francisco Bay.

The light and surf last night made for some great shots of the bridge from Ft. Point.

Went to this jetty tonight hoping to get some pictures of it under lights....good old Pt Stephens Council must have forgotten to pay the electricity bill...oh well, a bit of light painting is always fun..
