Below my FED-2 with 26m
Despite a low grade fever he still wanted to sleep a night under the tree.
I turned out all the lights in the house, dimmed the tree lights, put the Nutcracker suite on quietly, and closed myself in the bathroom to iron and cut out quilt pieces until he fell asleep.

Young male Grey Shrike-thrush (Colluricincla harmonica) fixing his fine eye on the viewer.
Named for a superficial resemblance to "old world" families, the GST is neither shrike nor thrush, but a type of whistler. Their joyous and melodic song is a familiar and much-loved sound throughout eastern Australia and Tasmania (and southern New Guinea).

New Haven Railroad diesel electric locomotive trio of FA-1 # 0420 & FB-1, plus another FA-1 is seen while leading a manifest freight train by the Hills Grove tower SS139 along the Shore Line route in Rhode Island, ca 1950's. Today this area is known a Hillsgrove. You may observe the mechanical pipe linkages extending out from the tower to operate switch turnouts and perhaps signals.
