Black Smoke in Rotterdam focuses on open-fire barbecue. It occupies a unique location in the monumental Van Nelle Factory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The restaurant's industrial decor is fitting for the location. Guests can sit at the "Hot Seats" right next to the open kitchen, where they can watch the pitmasters at work.

The restaurant specializes in "Hell's Kitchen"—instead of traditional cooking methods, everything is prepared over an open flame. The kitchen is equipped with American smokers, South American asado grills, Indian tandoori ovens, and Japanese hibachi grills. There are no gas knobs, only wood and coal to control the temperature. The bar is also known for its creative cocktails.

is getting to taste the results!

In a small town nestled down the road,

Stood a BBQ joint with a sign that glowed,

"The Rib BBQ King" it boldly said,

Where savory scents danced in the air like a thread.

The smoker roared with a fiery blaze,

As the Pitmaster cooked in smoky haze,

With a secret rub and a special sauce,

His culinary skills were true and boss.

His ribs were tender, falling off the bone,

Each bite a flavor explosion all on its own,

Juicy and succulent, a mouthwatering treat,

That made folks travel from miles to eat.

His BBQ pit was his kingdom and throne,

Where he ruled with spatula, knife, and bone,

He'd flip and baste, and smoke and grill,

His passion for BBQ, an unquenchable thrill.

Customers flocked from far and wide,

For a taste of the ribs that made them sigh,

They'd line up, hungry and eager to try,

The Rib BBQ King's delectable supply.

The sauce was tangy, with a hint of sweet,

A masterpiece that made taste buds meet,

The meat was smoky, with flavors divine,

Leaving patrons craving more every time.

With a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye,

The Rib BBQ King would satisfy,

His customers' appetites, their BBQ dreams,

With ribs that made their taste buds scream.

And as the sun set, and the smoke cleared,

The Rib BBQ King stood proud and revered,

For his BBQ prowess was truly supreme,

A culinary maestro, a barbecue dream.
