The pink dahlias in my garden started blooming. One of these days I will spend some time with others too. The reds, oranges and red/whites are still waiting for my camera.

I have been a little artistic with this version of this flowering rockery plant, and have done it in the style of an underpainting in Elements 11.

Pink Spineflower, Chorizanthe membranacea. Pretty common in the grasslands around the summit.

What I did when I wasn't pilfering Iris Sunday evening. Went to the next house with my camera... It was fairly dark at the time but challenging conditions can make dramatic results on occasion so I thought "Why not?"

Another "pink" submission. One layer each of cotton candy (SL), bent edges (SL), and awaken (SL)

sooc. I hardly ever post without editing, so that's pretty cool for me!

We went round to a friends house today. Her dog managed to jump her fence the other day straight into the road :o( So Paul was helping to put up some baton and plastic chicken wire, to give the fence some extra height.

These beautiful pink roses were in a vase on her side, so I had to photograph them.
