231/365 Days in Colour - Pink
The bouquet my neighbours gave me is still beautiful and is made up of pink and white flowers, so I wanted to share it with you before it fades.
Every year there is this glorious bloom of trilliums in a wetlands behind my house. They are so thick and prolific that the ground looks like it is carpeted in white. And pink! This year I found numerous pink trilliums... so I made that the focus of my yearly trillium portrait outing.

This succulent plant blooms every year: the bud grows into a long, stick-like shape within a week or so, then opens up in the evening and barely survives 24 hours before withering. As you can see from the insect in the right flower, however, it must be really tasty...
Called Pink BBQ Roses because I found them outside a Texas BBQ place. The owner and gardener said the secret to his successful roses is that he feeds them a tablespoon of Miracle Grow every single day diluted with water.
My epiphyllum plant is blooming! Here is another view. Lots of beautiful pink flowers. The plant itself does not look very good but the flowers are glorious! Enjoy!
