Pink Strawberry Blossom

I like the elegant simplicity of these often overlooked beautiful little flowers. Taken at Longwood Gardens

Breathe, smile and let it go.

My mother's first crop of pink peony blossoms are just starting to fade...

Don't wait for the last judgment - it takes place every day.

Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.

Every act of rebellion expresses a nostalgia for innocence and an appeal to the essence of being.

Pink smoke with a really pale pink background, can i say much more? Any tips? Enjoy

Ok I said I was done posting before my vacation but I found these Peonies out front and the Flickr junky in me took over. I'm leaving for Florida on Sunday . We are planning a trip to see the Egrets and the Wood storks nest in St. Augustine. I'm hopeful it will be a fantastic Op...Thank you so much and I will try to answer everyone before I go ( and try to make this my last post... )

Catching up with shots from last Spring

On a walk around the Ilam gardens in Spring.October 11, 2015 Christchurch New Zealand.

It was late August and we were wandering in a flower garden in the rain. This rose caught my eye. It has been "painted" and textured in Photoshop.

This is the cake I made for my niece Emma’s 6th Birthday! She loves anything to do with horses.

I have now made this style of cake for her two years in a row…(it's a long story) lol

We had a lovely day out with the kids today to celebrate Emma’s birthday… but my family got the biggest and nicest shock of our lives, because when we arrived back at my sisters to have the cake… sitting there was my brother who had arrived home from Australia for a surprise visit… Yipee :))))))

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and if you add your pink photos to this group you can help to raise up to €30,000 for local charities.

For each pink photo you add to www.flickr.com/groups/pink2008, Yahoo! for Good will donate €1, up to a maximum of €30,000. They will split the total equally between 5 charities in UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. Lets add our PINK photos to the group please.

As far as im concerned $30,000 isnt nearly enough but every little helps.

Awareness should also not just be for October.

These colors together like this do make a powerful statement! ...Especially the way I'm wearing them!

I have an admission to make. I have a serious weakness for shiny, sexy, clingy, tight fitting, curve hugging women's apparel! ...and boots- hot, stiletto-heeled boots! I know its a character flaw, but as that legendary cartoon character Popeye once said, "I yam what I yam!"

This ensemble centers on my Baltogs hot pink wet look lycra spandex tank style leotard from nydancewear.com, a shiny purple wet look lycra spandex micro miniskirt from milanoo[dot]com, a black two buckle stretch belt from greatglam.com, pink satin opera gloves from and Leg Avenue pink fishnet hose both from electriqueboutique.com worn over shiny black Platino Cleancut 15 denier pantyhose from shapings.com and Hanes Alive Barely There support hose from onehanesplace.com along with these hot pink vinyl thigh boots with 5" heels also from electriqueboutique.com.

I love Hibiscus flowers...this one is from a new plant of ours in a pot near our front door which gets lots of sun this time of year.

I'll be away for three days, and won't be uploading, but will check in while I'm gone to see what you're all up to!

I appreciate thoughtful and respectful comments.

I had a moment of panic earlier as all my usual props have been packed, but thankfully there's always something pink or red lying around, even when we're in the middle of packing our worldly goods, lol!

I won't be as active in the MM group, or on Flickr in general, over the coming weeks as we're in the process of moving house, but will try to post when I can. I will try to keep up with my wonderful contacts when I have a moment, but in the meantime I will try to post a picture a day on my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LyndaHPhotography.

Thank you in advance for any comments and/or favourites, which are always appreciated.

happy valentines to all :)

Have a nice week to all flickr buddies. . .
