Not at all sure what type of flower this is, but it was beautiful! :)

When I looked out of my bedroom window this morning I saw that my neighbour's (and friends) had bought a new pink parasol so (very cheekily) asked if I could pop round to take some shots!

Ghost town of Ballarat, California. Named after the Australian gold mining town of the same name. This is one of the better "preserved" structures.

I enjoy the beauty of the orange California Poppies but I also learned this year that they come in different colors... like this one. Perhaps it is a different kind... I don't know. I do know that it is beautiful. Please enjoy!

The Walled Garden

Elford Hall was sadly demolished in the 1960’s, but the Walled Garden that served the Hall throughout the 19th century remains. A team of determined villagers and volunteers have been working over the past few years on restoring the gardens to their former glory and they are now being enjoyed by all who visit. There’s a rose garden, allotments providing organic produce, a walk-way leading to a picnic area besides the river and an event area where a number of very successful village events have been held.

This garden is a 'must see'.

These daisies grows wild and are pretty hardy plants, they do give a good show of colours and looks great in photos.

Zinnia - comes in a wide variety of colors with large, profuse blooms.

They are truly an easy to grow annual flower.

The colours are just beautiful and gives the garden a beautiful display.

Saxifraga

I love geraniums. They are such a good value plant, flowering for months. I have lots of different ones in pots all around the patio. This is one of my favourites. The flowers are beautiful, and although the leaves are not as exciting as many other types, they are scented.
