Depois de Panda revelar na sua Tag T.M.I. que tinha algumas cicatrizes pelo corpo em função dos piercings, algumas pessoas quiseram saber mais sobre os tais "buraquinhos". Deu um trabalho encontrar esse mocinho, ele fugiu a semana toda que nem diabo da cruz, mas finalmente o peguei...

"Eu tinha um piercing em cada mmm... hmm..milo o///~///o Mas eu acho que um deles estava meio aberto, eu não sei como, o Frozen engoliu. Ficou uma meia hora engasgado, todo roxo, até engolir de vez o bendito. Aquele dia eu assustei! Achei que ele ia morrer, ele é muito dramático! - e rí - Uma semana depois o buraquinho fechou, ficou só uma marquinha. Daí para não ficar "monofarol" eu tirei o outro também...
Mas são só esses??? vc não tinha mais?

- Exatamente onde vc está pensando, espertinha ¬_¬" Um frenum e um lorum. Mas eu não vou mostrar nem morto!!! Agora me deixa em paz que eu tenho que dormir... Amanhã cedo eu tenho prova T^T

Sometimes there are moments in life, where everything depends on a choice, a step in a certain direction. That choice will determine who you are, who you choose to become.This image on Mt Wellington was captured within such a moment. The choice, the step, was like the light ~ to pierce through the clouds, the obstructions, and reveal the path of light to the summit.

[] Ainda do primeiro rolo de filme p&b com a Seagull, no passeio pela Praça da Estação. A foto não ficou como gostaria! Sem fotômetro não é fácil, e a "tensão" do momento complicou ainda mais... []
Estava com um amigo fazendo algumas fotos pela Praça e ele, um pouco distante de mim naquele momento, logo me chamou quando viu esta senhora. Quando olhei, não consegui identificar o que havia de diferente ali, mas não hesitei em correr, literalmente, até a senhora e tentar uma foto. Quando estava de frente a ela, vi que não poderia MESMO perder aquela foto! Nunca vi não tantos piercings em uma pessoa só! Até nas unhas!!! Caracas!
Eu fiquei tão impressionada que esqueci de perguntar o nome daquela senhora...Confesso que imaginar a dor de tantos furos não me permitiu ficar mais que 3 minutos diante da cena...
Sei que estou para descobrir coisa melhor que passear pelo centro com uma TLR...Cada canto é um causo!

It´s part of a window in the stairwell of the house in which I live. The hole on the left looks like a bullet hole ...no really nice part of the city ...

365 from the archive~ day 15~ Congo
When the streets of the city are your home, when you are solely responsible for your own safety while other children are tucked safely at home, when your survival is depending entirely on the kindness of others...
These piercing eyes belong to one of the 300, 000 children that call the streets of the cities in Congo their home. "les enfants de la rue" ~ the children of the street, wild eyed, witty, emotionally fragile, hard shelled, untrusting... the sad product of a humanity gone wrong. But still the strength in them and the hope in their eyes could not be missed.
I met these children in a center in Kinshasa that offers them lessons, food, daytime shelter and guidance where needed. They sang to me, drew messages on the blackboard for me to photograph and sang me their national anthem in a most rhythmic excellence which I filmed and will share in a future post.
