I was not on a photography mission, I’m walking the dogs, so it was snap away enroute. No chance to go off piste with Oscar in tow he’ll not have. As soon as the going gets rough, e.g, leave the path, he’ll stop, stare to see where I’m heading and then he’ll be off running around looking for a path to cut me off at the pass sort of thing. There never is that magic path so I have to quickly get back to the path and call him back. Toby on the other hand would follow me wherever, when he was younger, now he just stops and watches me disappear into the undergrowth.

This fisherman was in low spirits and he was not fishing but just sitting altough there were obviously plenty of fish caught by others.
Taken on a ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The fog was very dense along this stretch until we rounded the next curve. Then the sun was nearly blinding as it quickly burned off the mist covered mountain. I pulled over and ran back up the road to get a few shots. The drama faded, and within a few minutes the fog was gone. Thanks for looking.
Technical aspects: Straight out of the camera image. Added -2/3 stop of exposure compensation to capture the sunbeams as my eyes were seeing them. MIMO8486
