In the final pages 15 and 16 I showed different variations of my theme transferred onto garment concepts. In page 16 I illustrated and showed the completed shirt and attached corset idea, as well as fabric samples that would be used in constituting and embellishing the final design.

I think this photograph is well composed. The path acts as a lead-in line to the house in the background, but the bushes stand perfectly at the sides. The texture in the shot is what I believe draws attention. The contrasting texture of the brick path and the bushes that surround it work well together.

Charcoal, ink, oil paint, and chalk. 3ft by 2ft.

Portrait of my mother, exploring the mental toll that chronic illness brings. This project began as an exploration into the myth of Persephone. Inspired by the poem "The Pomegranate" by Eavan Boland, I was compelled to explore the forgotten grief of mothers, later delving into my own relationship with my mother. This piece is one of my final outcomes for this project, featuring my own mother almost paradoxically both weak and powerful.

At the end of the exploratory period of the art foundation course we did a personal project. This had to relate somewhat to one of our previous projects on the course but was mainly self-initiated. I chose to explore the link and relationship between nature and humans. These drawings and paintings are done in a mix of watercolour, pencil and coloured pencil.

This is an x-ray that i stitched using a sewing machine, i found it worked really well as a continuous line.
