today i stayed home...all day. normally this would be a bad thing, but today, it was goooood.

for one, staying home today means mall tomorrow!

and two, i got to work on the one thing i've been putting off all winter break...my personal project.

as horrible as i thought it would be to start it, working on my p.p. was incredibly FUN!

i've finished the first page of the scrapbook that i'm making, which is the title page. i even finished writing in my process journal this morning. i'm really happy with it so far, and i'm getting really excited. who knew making a scrapbook for a school project could be so much fun?!

now, i've officially met the goals that i set for winter break in terms of my personal project....how's that for being accomplished? ahaha.

well there goes the second day of the new year...looking forward to the third.

Research for my individual Personal Project "What We think, We Become" (a large protect from my school to pass on to the IB years, 10th grade, age 15-16). The topic of my project was how us human have been resorting to meditation as a method of escapism, while meditation is really a part of the Buddhist community and lifestyle. This is an interview I had with a Buddhist monk friend of mine from Nepal, questioning him about his opinions on meditation and its uses nowadays.
