Personal project, just done for fun. Took a silly photo of my girl and I, digitally painted it in Photoshop, then played with a number of different blending modes and colours.

This was a personal project I did for a client in Belgium who wanted a DJ logo based on a monkey. This is what I came up with. I designed the first two on the left after him desiring a more agressive looking design so we agreed an ape would be more appropriate. The graphic on the far left was my final design.
There are a lot of photo’s that I have taken that infuse the motion of light, however I took this nightscape as it was very scenic. The fact that it’s London and the usual associations with London are of busy streets and epic nightlife, which helps to make this shot more peaceful. I love the reflection of the London Eye on the river and think I think the overall picture is a beautiful reflection of how man made structures can inspire and create striking scenes.
