I applied the water colour paint onto the cartridge paper by using a sponge, a craft knife and a paint brush which had dried PVA glue on it. I wanted to use a paintbrush which was hard so i could create strong brush strokes, as shown on the left painting, to represent the grass in the photographs.
This was a personal project I did for a client in Belgium who wanted a DJ logo based on a monkey. This is what I came up with. I designed the first two on the left after him desiring a more agressive looking design so we agreed an ape would be more appropriate. The graphic on the far left was my final design.

In the final pages 15 and 16 I showed different variations of my theme transferred onto garment concepts. In page 16 I illustrated and showed the completed shirt and attached corset idea, as well as fabric samples that would be used in constituting and embellishing the final design.
