An extract from a story i made inspired by my recent trip to Malawi, using acrylic paint.

This was a personal project I did for a client in Belgium who wanted a DJ logo based on a monkey. This is what I came up with. I designed the first two on the left after him desiring a more agressive looking design so we agreed an ape would be more appropriate. The graphic on the far left was my final design.

This is a piece is part of my Personal Project for Controlled Lighting 1. It focuses on lighting used in famous pieces throughout art history. The lighting is my recreation of Rembrandt lighting.

I think this photograph is well composed. The path acts as a lead-in line to the house in the background, but the bushes stand perfectly at the sides. The texture in the shot is what I believe draws attention. The contrasting texture of the brick path and the bushes that surround it work well together.

November 24th, 2010 - Just some of the hoses that can be used by firefighters. There are three levels of shelves full of hoses. The bottom shelf is for supply lines and the other two shelves are different attachments that can be hooked up to the truck.

During the first night at Zion, I spotted a deer that was actually local to the area often standing on the outskirts of the village. after following the deer I asked my Dad to face car headlights towards it in order to capture it more easily. at this moment I noticed that there was a strong silhouette cast behind that seemed like a cave painting and so I changed focus onto the wall. it's one of my favourite photographs, there is something about the images candid framing and the fact the deer is looking at its own shadow that really resonates with me.

Portrait of my mother, exploring the mental toll that chronic illness brings. This project began as an exploration into the myth of Persephone. Inspired by the poem "The Pomegranate" by Eavan Boland, I was compelled to explore the forgotten grief of mothers, later delving into my own relationship with my mother. This piece is one of my final outcomes for this project, featuring my own mother almost paradoxically both weak and powerful.
