Emilia Jensen is seven and wants to do a bit of it all: show designer and veterinarian. How she’ll have the time for both is a bit of a mystery but she’s going to see what happens. She plays in the “minis” age group for Regina Mini Rugby. Photo by Heidi Atter.

“Coming to Canada has been a wonderful experience so far. But getting here has not been easy. Having to leave your loved ones behind and moving out of your comfort zone in order to grow is very difficult. For example, yesterday was the Persian New Year and because I am new, I don't know many people here so I was all alone. Not having your fiancé and family to celebrate the occasion with made me feel very lonely. I guess things like that aren't really what others see from the outside; as a student living in Canada, the journey hasn't always been easy or smooth. Without my fiancé, I feel that there is something always missing. However, I am still happy persuing this path to finish my masters in journalism despite the hardships ahead. I know that at the end, it will all be worth it. Hopefully soon my situation will change once my fiance comes to Canada in a few months.” Reza came from Iran to Canada in summer of 2017 as an international student. He will be completing his masters in journalism at the University of Regina in August. Photo by Madina Azizi.

Here's a little personal project I created for a fictional concert featuring some of my favorite bands. I love heavy metal and have been wanting to create a poster like this for a while. Enjoy! \m/

"Catch of the day" represents the stereotypical image of The Grimsby Fish Market, but this fish was caught off iceland and arrives by train.

Costume piece made for "Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball" 2009, the theme was distressed Steam Punk.

I did basic panel edits, then I changed the tint and temp of the photo to make it not as blue and then I did a brush on everything but the water and sky and put clarity and texture and a little contrast. Then I put a brush on the sky to try to make it less bright.
