I happened to get the most and the best photos of Periphery out of all other bands I shot that day, these photos deserve their own album. Sadly, their bassist, Nolly, did not make it to this show, he was still trapped in the UK. Periphery on the Summer Slaughter tour play at the house of blues in Hollywood on July 20th.
Taken at Real World Studios whilst filming for Scotsbasslessons. Subject is "Nolly" (bassist from band "Periphery").

Periphery is an American metal band from Bethesda, Maryland (by way of Baltimore, Maryland), formed in 2005.
The Sonisphere Festival is a touring music festival which takes place across Europe between June and August. The festival is owned and promoted by Kilimanjaro Live with financial backing from AEG. It has hosted heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, and Slayer.
The idea for Sonisphere was first conceived when Stuart Galbraith was working for Live Nation, the organisers of Download Festival. The plan was to hold a series of events that would "translate into other territories". The event did not begin to materialize, however, until Galbraith left Live Nation for the events company Kilimanjaro Live.
Galbraith gained the support of the metal band Metallica, who were claimed to have helped curate the festival for later years; however, rumours were denied of Metallica signing a multi-million pound deal promising the band to headlining the festival for three years. The first run of festivals ran throughout the summer of 2009 at six venues, returning in 2010 with 11 venues.
Galbraith's plans for future festivals consist of increasing the number of festivals, making the event global rather than local to Europe, expanding the UK event into a 3-day festival, and increasing the UK capacity from 40,000 to 60,000 attendees

Rock On The Range day 3! I went to the Jägermeister stage to catch a little bit of Periphery before going back to the Monster stage for Volbeat. I may have had a shot of Jägermeister.
After Volbeat we stopped at Taco Bell to get a couple Baja Blasts for Shay to help with his tonsillectomy recovery. After we dropped them off at Mother Mary's we went to Pizza House for dinner.
Today was the 7th year anniversary of Julie and my first date! We have been dating 84 months!

Located in the eastern periphery of modern Viareggio, the small site at San Rocchino was excavated in a series of campaigns between the mid 1960s and early 1970s. After evidence of occasional use between the Final Bronze Age and the Villanovan period (12th-mid 8th c. BCE), the site has produced evidence of two occupational sequences, the first from the late 8th to mid 5th c. BCE, the second from the late 4th to the 3rd/2nd c. BCE, when the site was destroyed by fire. The site sits on the edge of what was once a much larger coastal lagoon (what remains is today's lago di Massaciuccoli), built up on terraced fill starting in the 7th c. BCE. To the Archaic period, in the second half of the 6th c. BCE, can be dated four wooden huts and associated port infrastructure. The site has produced evidence of far-flung commercial contacts, including Aegean transport amphorae.

On Saturday 7 October 2017, UCL Urban Laboratory and Folkestone Triennial 2017 held the second event in the EDGE symposium series, exploring the concept of situated practice in contemporary art, architecture and urbanism. The events bring together practitioners and thinkers at three ‘edge’ locations connected by the High Speed 1 railway, which acts a geographical link and embodies ideas associated with community, connectivity and escapism.
In framing these events, we have considered 'edge' as: 'Where an area that is known or privileged meets another that is unknown or ignored; a point of balance between contrary or diverse phenomena; a place of connectivity and interaction.'
'Periphery' was a day of enquiry to consider the environs of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Investment for the 2012 Games brought rapid development to the previously neglected Stratford area. Here East, within the former press and broadcasting centre of the Games, is envisaged as a cluster of innovators and digital makers, whilst the Stratford Waterside development will bring new institutions including the V&A, Sadler's Wells, London College of Fashion, and UCL.
Keynote: Jill Magid and Do Ho Suh
Speakers: Amica Dall (Assemble), Anna Harding (SPACE), Jane Rendell, Kreider + O’Leary, Liza Fior (MUF), Oreet Ashery and Mi Park, Torange Khonsari (Public Works), and Stephen Pritchard
The series is organised by the UCL Urban Laboratory and Folkestone Triennial 2017, with additional support from the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL and The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
