A new theme for me and also a challenge. To see things from another perspective. My contribution for the theme "periphery".
Typical village landscape in Hanoi. Presently threathened by large urban developments at the periphery of the city. The city has been built on large water areas that are progressively reduced to residual water ponds as the one that appears on this picture.
We stopped for a lunch break off the trail under the trees, in a campground that isn't open in winter. This little guy was obviously comfortable with people, and used to poaching food, as it hung around the periphery of our lunch area throughout the meal. Didn't get any food from us, though!
Last week I have been to Tuscany with www.flickr.com/photos/henk-meijer. We had a rainy, windy and cold week. Not the weather you would expect when going to Tuscany. But it was a great week with lots of fun and some beautiful moments.
