Cropped from a larger photo of crowds on the bridge watching the gondolas on a canal in Venice. Hadn't spotted the little girl when I took the photo!
She is authentic, strong, owns herself. It may lack some ingredients to make it perfect, but what is never lacking is the courage to be the best version of yourself.
A perfect view, the horses were brought in at Easter, it's great seeing them in the mornings when you look out.
A House Sparrow stopped briefly for a few seeds before flying off to parts unknown. The old stump makes for a perfect perch to photograph anything that comes along.

This Northern Pygmy Owl landed on this short branch covered in lichen. It is amazing how fast their heads pivot from side to side looking for prey or preditor.
Just after lunch my wife and I decided to drive north to Portencross as we were having a lovely sunny day. If the weather is nice then Portencross is always a nice place to visit.
It was also a perfect day as can be seen by this lovely yacht sailing in the glistening sunshine!

My photography friends in the frame capturing the wonder as well. The red light is from the camera as it writes the image to the card.

******************************************************************************
The Roseate Spoonbill is a wading bird of the ibis and spoonbill family. This species feeds in shallow fresh or coastal waters by swinging its bill from side to side as it steadily walks through the water, often in groups. The spoon-shaped bill allows it to sift easily through mud. It feeds on crustaceans, aquatic insects, frogs, newts and very small fish ignored by larger waders. The Roseate Spoonbill nests in shrubs or trees, often mangroves, laying 2 to 5 eggs, which are whitish with brown markings. Immature birds have white, feathered heads, and the pink of the plumage is paler. They are extremely agile high in the treetops. (They are often confused with the flamingo.)
