On these cold nights. A cup of yumminess, hot cocoa & marshmallows.
I couldn’t use my camera while pouring the hot cocoa so used my phone, I did catch the cocoa but it’s supposed to to be a macro so I cropped it out.
I think Im going to leave this and jump on to another project before she ends up looking more and more like Elvira!

Sometimes the sunset fits perfectly between the houses at Feistein lighthouse. Like it did when we visited last week.

At the start of Golden Hour, you couldn't ask for better light as a westbound BNSF oil empty charges west out of Leyden. BNSF pretty consistently runs their eastbound oil loads in a 3x(0)x3 configuration. Consequently, it makes sense that this westbound empty has six units on the head end. Three of the unit move to the east end of the train for journey back east.

When something is so perfect, what do we do wrong in the upbringing of our children?
Perhaps it has to do with:
All the unnecessary yelling instead of actually talking to each other.
Using the You-word, like "You are stupid", instead of being constructive.
Letting our kids have so many activities that there is no time to being bored, no time to dwell and think.
Letting the kids think that "I always need to be good for them to love me".
Could we please stop ruining meals because the grown ups need to talk about serious stuff.
Food never tastes good when there is arguing at the table.
All the evil stuff kids say to each other will probably diminish if every grown up is there for their own child.
Using our spare time to be there for them, does not necessarily mean that you shall build them a castle in the forest, cause that is often not bonding, that is for you to think that you have had quality time with the kids, while they have stood watching.
Just be there, sit together and the child's inner thoughts will come and then you will see Who your child actually is, and may be see what they are struggling with.
Be patient tho, please - Things Take Time TTT 🤔
Many things give us low self esteem which we will struggle with until we manage to deal with it.
Questions like what were they struggling with, the ones that said these awful things to me, might help. What is mine and what is theirs. We don't need to deal with others' stuff, let them deal with it themselves.
Deal with your own stuff, that is normally enough.
Finding the family patterns are very interesting. "We are shy in our family", "We have temper in our family", well it's time to stop and sort it out and use the scissors to cut off the patterns.
Don't bring it on to your children.
You need to start with yourself ♥
All the stuff I am dealing with from my past I often find the answers on either in meditation or out hiking.
Lol, no wonder I am out hiking for hours with all that shit I need to sort out 😂😂😂
Have a spendid week you all 😍
Good things come to those who wait! We've had to wait a while until we got perfect conditions for this shot. We sure had a great time sharing this location with our Lake Powell Workshop participants. The water was an absolute mirror-like reflection! If you want to get out and explore some lesser-photographed locations at Lake Powell, come join us for a houseboat adventure in Oct 2022!
I was surprised to find that these “Chinese fine egg noodles” are made in Belgium but then I discovered that the word noodle derives from the German word nudel. f8 , 1/200s, ISO 800. Pentax -M f1.4 50mm (reversed).

Spaceship Earth has to be architecturally one of the coolest buildings ever designed. Not only is the building itself awe-inspiring, but whoever is responsible for the lighting deserves some kind of award.

Even after 20 years I am still fascinated by sunsets around the Danish West Coast. None is like the one the day before but they are all perfect. Hvidbjerg Strand, Jylland, Denmark
Mallard (f) Mallards are dabbling ducks, meaning that they do not dive underwater for their food, but feed at or just below the surface. They are well adapted to eating both natural and ‘domestic’ foods (such as waste grain from harvests). Most of their diet is made up of plants, such as wetland plants and grains (like wheat, barley, rice and oats). IMG_0916
