This is simply one of the coolest signs in industrial Brooklyn. I'll have to take it again - forgot to change the white balance after I came out of the subway.
I had the extreme pleasure of shooting my good friends Chris & Erin's engagement photos just a few short weeks away from their wedding. We shot outside of the old Bollman Hat Factory in Adamstown, PA. We were hoping to shoot inside since Chris's family has strong ties to the business. We were only able to shoot outside but the old barn walls and brick made for a fantastic and colorful backdrop. We stopped at a small park to take advantage of the wonderful sky too. I think they turned out great!
I loved how the setting sun hit this pair of remarkable buildings last night - so warm and hinting of SPRING!! (Is it here, yet?!?!)
Taken from the ferry as we left "our" island (Isola Superiore dei Pescatori) to take a short trip to Isola Bella.
It looks slightly off in the picture, but it is just right. The pin in the front panel is just so I can tell which is the front panel when I am working from the inside. This is a normal size straight pin which gives you an idea how small this is to work with.

I signed Fenris up in the dog show and didn't feel like showing him myself so i asked my sister to do it. Here they were practicing for the show.
Fenris won his class.
but didnt make it to the finals. i hope he will do better next. but i fear next time will be more rivals. so i think he will not make it really high.. hes kind of small compared to Siberian Huskies in iceland. The judges often like em bigger.
Spotted from my front porch with a glass of California Chardonnay and this week’s Apple Music New Music Mix for PJMixer. Looking around it all looked dirty and messy. But it didn’t take too long to spot this. Contrast of Angles. Colours. Textures. Lighting. Rule of thirds. Imperfection from the wires and challenging geometry. #worldphotographyday
My husband clucked his tongue and looked away before he said, "Why would you take a picture of my hands? My gnarled, old, fat hands."
And I wanted to say, "Because they have touched me. Because they are bigger than mine and they have trembled on my skin or wiped away my tears. Because they have cupped my chin or swept across my hair as I lay sleeping. Because they are your hands and I love them. They are perfect."
Instead, I took a picture and hope it says the one thousand words I wish them to.
