Remember those cute little raccoons nestled in the bottom of the can I use for leaves? Well, here's one of them having returned. He has climbed up the giant rhododendron and was looking at me through a second-story window while I was working on my computer. What could I do? First, I got my camera and took a picture and then I called for the animal control officer to bring a trap.

Great horned owlet in nest. Taken at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, IN.

On Old Mission Peninsula, Traverse City, Michigan.

This was taken at Lake Arrowhead State Park near Wichita Falls, TX. These little Prairie Dogs were quite shy and it took quite a bit of patience to get this close in an open field.

Yum, nectar!

I figured I'd post a bee since I haven't posted one for a while. I've been catching up on my shooting but now need a rainy day to catch up with processing and flickr. 36 hour day, where are youuuuu?

Buck Peeking out of the reeds

When sitting on the stairs I can easily throw one foot in the air, thus revealing many feminine secrets. I know, I know: chic ladies are not supposed to do this at all, it's terrible behavior. It's also a lot of fun though and that's more important for me; after all life is short and we should enjoy it without being restrained too much by what we are supposed to do. So here we go: one foot in the air and a big smile on my face! It reveals my golden high heels and the big petticoat under my skirts. Just check out all those lovely layers of soft tulle that give my wide skirt its volume and shape. Imagine how they feel as they softly caress my legs when I walk, or how they make those wonderful swishing sounds when I move. Wearing a classy ballgown is already a delight on its own and with a big petticoat added it really becomes blissful heaven.

A peek into two of the stores at Tuttle Mall. One completely empty and one with a ghost. This mall has been devastated by covid and the economy going virtual.

The October moon nearing its First Quarter peeking through the trees. Now the Full Moon is hiding behind the clouds.

Best seen in large size.

Our Daily Challenge

I threw a blanket over Zoe in her bed beside my computer chair for the challenge. I'm beginning to get the hang of all these new Flickr screens. I still don't like all the images that show up initially, letting me know that someone that I don't know has commented on one of my contact's photos. How stupid is that?

A giraffe peeks out from behind a tree in the main savannah of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in Orlando, Florida.

One of the highlights of our most recent trip to WDW was going on the Wanyama Safari at Animal Kingdom Lodge. The safari offers a chance to ride through the savannahs at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Kidani Village, guided by a member of Disney's Animal Care Team, followed by a "family style" dinner at Jiko for the tour group.

It was incredible to get so close to the animals, and our guide, Bethany, knew the names and history of all of them. I've never been so close to such majestic creatures.

The tour is offered once per day, and the maximum group size is 12, so it feels wonderfully intimate and special.

"Peeking Moon:" The full moon rises above some of the peaks of the Granite Dells.

This is one of my ferrets, Bam Bam and it was so nice out today I took him out to play and he kept peeking out from a blanket and that's when I got the shot.

This is in the Bybee-Howell house, an historic house on Sauvie Island, Oregon. The house is closed to visitors, so this was taken peeking in the window.

There is a fern...plant at our front desk...I had the camera peek through and take a photo.....it came out a little blurry so I sharpened it and then turned it into a wall painting...(neat filter).

I am really happy with the outcome.

Teddy posing through the pretty flowers at the Cottege garden, I like how it looks as if he is peeking through lol So Cute :D

The eggs and spoon race brought out the cheat in some

As they ran with the egg held in place with their thumb

The three legged race always brought me disgrace

Forever tripping and landing right on my face

The hurdles and long jump sometimes ended bad too

But once in a while I took off and flew

Skills with a ball I had very few

Thankfully others had few too

Boys against girls we thought would be a jest

By half time our only hope was to sign George Best

Tom was in goals he was always quite dumb

Five goals the girl`s scored while he sucked his thumb

Ian was our striker he was crafty and fly

His lack of goals he blamed on the turn in his eye

Now Barbara was their star with her cute Purdy bob

Every cross she put away with a jump and a nod

Other games like Tig were always such fun

Running around the playground until we were done

There was hockey, handball and rounders too

But my favourite game involved shouting Peek-a-boo
