Photo taken in Valley of Fire State Park (Nevada, USA).
A man looks out from one of the windows of the Seiden, the "Main Hall" of Shuri castle in Naha, Okinawa, Japan. Also called the State Palace, the Seiden was situated to the east of the main ceremonial area, the Una, but facing west towards China. According to historical records, the Seiden was burned down and rebuilt several times, most recently in 2019, following previous incidents in 1453, 1660, 1709 and 1945.
Going through film folders to find a particular shot and found a few I had forgotten about and that lead to looking through Burlington pictures again. From the not too distant 2019
LOVE my 50mm 1.8 :O First time trying it. For the price I wasn't expecting much but it had lots off good reviews so I thought why not... I think its my favorite lens I own right now don't know why I never bought it sooner!

Hi Flickr friends!
Just letting you know that you're always in my heart even if you don't see my name in your streams. Time is so precious these days, I can't do both Flickr and work. So for this summer, I chose to dump work.haha! Just kidding. I still hope we're friends no matter what.

This horse lives across the road from me. I stopped just before pulling in my drive to take his picture.

A chilly morning looking toward Bahia Honda State Park at the Old Flagler Railroad Bridge. Sunrise was almost completely blocked except for this moment where the sun peeked through a small opening in the clouds.
Little miss humours her mama by racing up and peeking out from behind this great wood wall. Things you do whilst at the shopping centre. Stew had an electrical purchase impulse and we all decided to head down to the crazy neon land. I felt like an old woman looking at all the yoooouge T.V. screens. They are so big, so flat, and so cheap. How is that even possible? How do electrical goods continue to fall in price when our global resources are becoming more limited and more expensive. Crazy consumer world. We trundled back up our mountain, needless (?) electrical purchase in tow, and spent a very quiet afternoon rearranging electrical devices to fit into my parents' old Italian buffet. It will look great when I finish painting the damn thing. I thought really hard this afternoon about painting it but apparently you have to actually get out the brush and apply paint to get further. It has only been waiting a year....
This is a shot looking back at the Cabarita headland just as the sun is starting to break through the clouds. The cloud cover was quite thick and I wasn't sure I would see it at all, but sure enough it peeked through.
Cabarita, New South Wales, Australia

This is an integrated camera toss. The image of the face is actually from an earlier toss that didn't quite work out. I think together this works a bit better.
