Siouxsie And The Banshees - Peek-A-Boo

Golly jeepers, where'd you get those peepers?

Peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo

Peep show, creep show, where did you get those eyes?

India. Nagaland.

Kigwema, Naga village in the Kohima area.

This one peeked from behind a wall, and gave me just enough time to take this shot.

Was looking for that strawberry full moon, but was only able to get the regular moon this time. I captured it peeking out of the clouds. Otis Orchards, WA. Captured this with my 300 mm Minolta lens.

I was parked on a rooftop parking lot and noticed a large billboard across the street. I positioned myself such that the eye of the model fit nicely into the corner created by the side and front wall of the parking structure, creating this effect.

"Peek-a-view", ca. 1942

I love this little twig of colorful autumn leaves peeking from behind this huge oak tree. This is in the entrance to the Japanese Garden at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden.

Not my best shot ever, but the peeking around the corner aspect makes me smile.

Another lilac shot. I liked the way it was sort of peeking over the edge of the leaf.

Kid peeking up in the middle of a rain shower in a village in Kathmandu, Nepal.

I had to stand on top of a crumbling stone platform and use my hand to shield the lens from raindrops. The only post-processing is a bit of contrast and a vignette, I think.

This photo was selected as Judges' Fave and featured on the National Geographic website during the International Photography Contest. :D

As manly and majestic Milo is , when something new is introduced into his enclosure he is super cautious often waiting and watching until Misty checks it out first before he goes and gives it a sniff.

One of the most fun games as a kid is playing peek-a-boo! Giggles. Laughter. Fun. Be a kid today......let loose of that child-like spirit and laugh until tears run down your face. There is no better cure for the blues than to find something to laugh about -- even if it's yourself! (I do that all of the time! LOL) :-)

Note: Even though I want to be a kid today, I have to work (so, I'll be a kid at work! LOL) I'll be around to visit you this evening. Thanks so very much for your visits, comments, and invites. Have a beautiful day today!

What’s not to like with a slip peek?

We discovered a woodland walk during our week away and while Cash waited around for me to help him over the stiles, I took full advantage and managed to get this shot ;) Love him peeking over the fence and looking wet and scruffy.

After the peak, the clouds moved in and I was piqued until I caught another peek.

One fair evening at the Castelo de São Jorge overlooking Lisbon. It took a while till the last of a bunch of kids disappeared in the staircase, and the last one's bonnet is still seen peeking over the battlement...

The moon peeking or peaking last night.

Playing peek-a-boo is one of a 22-month old's favorites. Playing in a box from a new toy is another. Eli combined both into a great game!

It only looked as if this Canadian Goose was playing a game of peek-a-boo with me, tucking his beak between the feathers on his back, but actually, he was getting ready to take a nap! Many birds rest their heads on their backs while nuzzling their beaks into their back feathers. Sleeping with their heads tucked on their backs allows them to rest their neck muscles while also conserving heat.
