The rear of a Manhattan-bound (F) train peeks between the two levels of the elevated structure at W8th St having curved onto the Culver Line.

It only looked as if this Canadian Goose was playing a game of peek-a-boo with me, tucking his beak between the feathers on his back, but actually, he was getting ready to take a nap! Many birds rest their heads on their backs while nuzzling their beaks into their back feathers. Sleeping with their heads tucked on their backs allows them to rest their neck muscles while also conserving heat.

Photographed this little cutie for a solid 20 minutes, while she peeked in & outta the slats of the power pole she was on. Was hi-larious! Was hoping she'd take flight & I'd get some opportune in flight shots, even climbed to the roof of my car. Nope, once again, the owl wins. LOL
I spotted this little girl peeking out from one of the cutouts in the large orange DIY trailer/booth at Artscape in Baltimore, Maryland.
Raccoon peeking out of a hole in a tree near Rocky River Nature Center. It did not look happy to be observed.
I was parked on a rooftop parking lot and noticed a large billboard across the street. I positioned myself such that the eye of the model fit nicely into the corner created by the side and front wall of the parking structure, creating this effect.
Kids were playing in the leaves and this was a great peek-a-boo shot. Little bit of sharpening and and Natural Dynamic Contrast -- removed from face.

Peeking through a gap in the trees, Reading & Northern train QAMC resumes its trip west to Mount Carmel
I went back to the kestrel's nest yesterday hoping to get some more shots, but no luck. This jay was much more cooperative, we played a game of peek-a-boo for a while as overtime I put the camera to my eye he disappeared behind the branch.
I was taking pictures of the Nubians and turned to see this scene... this little Saanen kid made me laugh! (don't ask which Saanen it is... there are four of them and they all look the same. Now, if it were a Nubian or a Boer then I could tell you who it is!)
Playing peek-a-boo is one of a 22-month old's favorites. Playing in a box from a new toy is another. Eli combined both into a great game!

This is from the other day when I was walking about a park downtown (which I normally don't do on the weekend). Saw a couple of young squirrels, and hoping to get a bit closer to them so they could fill up the frame better, but this (and some cropping) is about as close as I could get to any of them... they scurried up those trees so quick.
Peek-a-boo and Spooky Gulches are two very tight, very popular slot canyons near Escalante, Utah. We made a loop hike out of them, going up Peek-a-boo and back down Spooky. They're very different from each other, despite being practically next to each other. Peek-a-boo is twisty and pretty while Spooky is so tight you have to turn sideways to make it through. Both fun, each in their own way.
Imagine being in here when it's raining upstream - I don't think so.
The same girl from the last photo in my photostream, but she seems to be having more fun with this shot, hiding behind the curtain and peeking out at the photographer. I'm starting to suspect that the pgotographer must have been someone she knew well. Perhaps her father or some other relative or close family friend was an amatuer photographer. That would account for both her obvious comfort with being photographed and the relatively poor quality of all the photos.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this odd photo.
I was actually on the other side of my car getting ready to get in but my niece followed me. She kept peeking into the passenger seat because I had two of the blythe dolls in there. She kept asking their names. I snapped this right after she looked back up at me as she waited for an answer.
I love the foggy feel to it & her serious expression.
