I spotted this grey squirrel in the pine trees as I walked across Winter Hill Golf Course on my walk. I was lucky to get this shot, they usually disappear by the time I'm ready to take the shot!

Our cat Tigger just loves being out on the balcony...that way he can be outside in the sun, and yet not wander off. I was actually taking the picture from down below...it looks like I was right in front of him...I guess that's how a zoom comes in handy! Hope you enjoy!

This little one is definitely wary of me and is giving me a peek through the twigs. I saw 2 Black Caps yesterday which is certainly unusual as they are infrequent visitors and usually only one comes. I saw in this very wet weather, the bird feeders are really necessary to keep hunger away for our birds.

An owlet peeks up in front of the adult great horned owl in this photo from the Genesee Recreation Area, April, 2022.

Rather attractive but presumably a pest, these seeds ready to fly off.

Was doing some yardwork this weekend, trying to clean up one of the flowerbeds next to our backdoor stoop. One of our camellia bushes lost a LOT of blooms during a recent bout of severe weather that blew through our area.

In the middle of clearing up all the debris I happened to look inside this ornamental garden stake which always seems to need to be cleaned out. Did a double take when I saw this little face peeking out from under one of the petals. Our first anole lizard sighting for the year!!!

Thankfully it was still hiding when I returned with my camera! I grabbed a few shots before deciding to leave my yardwork for later.
