The horses of highway 18. Near Emerado, ND

This photo was taken at 5:19 in the AM! Found a great spot on this beach in Scotland were the birds are quite tame and very used to people.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend. :)

Spying a view of the Chicago River

A common blue butterfly, roosting in the grass at St Cyrus yesterday evening. This isn't anywhere near the quality I'd have liked (needs the eyes and antennae in better focus, and better light and detail), but the light was poor and it was windy---I hope to get another go at this.

Haha.. just noticed the Flickr autotags: airplane :D

Spring flowers along the trail.

got a bunch of beautiful fragrant lilies the other day and just got to taking their photos yesterday. we call them stargazers, and they really last for quite sometime, even after their pollens have dropped off! here is a bud starting to open, and quite interestingly, the pollens are not seen yet, but still are inside the elongated pods. it will take another day for the pods to open up and reveal the pollen themselves. wow!

Mealy Bug or Woolly Aphid exposing it self. I walked the path that goes through the woods looking for anything that moved. I saw this little cotton ball moving on a leaf. I was curious, so I took a few pics. My backyard. Central Bucks, PA.
