At the same time when I earned university degree in Computer Systems Engineering, I also earned military rank. This patch (Armed Forces of Russian Federation, Electronic Warfare) reflects my specialization.
This is Patch who we met whilst walking over at Keyhaven a couple of weeks ago. She is 14 years old and her owners told us they had had a 'scare' with her the previous week and thought that they were going to lose her. Patch reminded me of my mother's dog, Ruff, who was a collie cross, and I told them that Ruff had lived until she was 17 years old which made them feel a little better.
Patch was enjoying her cycle ride out along the coast. I hope she has many more
I like how the tree branch/bark is in different shades of patch just like Cordelia Charmsheep's head.
I wanted to take a full body shot of her laying between the tree branches but there were some ants and as much as Cordelia Charmsheep is found of animals, ants aren't one of them.

Le patch d'une cliente, qui a suivi le cours "mystère" donné par ma mère.
J'ai rempli tout le fond avec ma petite technique de remplissage perso: le Leonoring...
One of my customer's patch. She attended my mother's "Mystery's patchwork class". I quilted the backgroung with my personal filler: the Leonoring.
Oberheim once sent me this when I ordered a manual from them. It's called Oberview and has some cool info and a neat patch.

This widely-respected symbol began with F-105 aircrews. Capts. Bruce Holmes and Will Koenitzer, two pilots in the 469th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 388th Tactical Fighter Wing, designed the original 100-mission patch while on leave in Bangkok, Thailand, in 1965. Holmes completed his 100-mission tour on Jan. 15, 1966, and Koenitzer finished his the next day.
Although unofficial, this patch became a powerful symbol of a proud tradition. A badge of honor, it showed that one had faced mortal danger 100 times and survived where so many others had been lost. It also certified the faithful completion of a tour and the right to go home.
On display: Maj. Koenitzer wore a 100-mission patch on his flight suit when he trained F-105 crews at McConnell AFB in 1967-1968. Koenitzer wore a humorous “100-mission” patch on the shoulder of his MA-1 jacket that celebrated his many R&R trips to the Princess Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
John Mesenbourg, the operations officer in the 13th Tactical Fighter Squadron, earned this 100 mission F-105 patch.
Lt. Col. Albert Vollmer had what he described as “two missions without a landing“ (he was shot down twice). His shoot-downs are recorded as half missions.
This plaque with the 100-mission patch design was awarded to Capt. Robert Dorrough, an F-105 Wild Weasel pilot in the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing, when he flew his 100th mission over North Vietnam on Jan. 24, 1968.
Some pilots, like Capt. Paul "Matt" Dillon, had the 100-mission patch painted on their helmet visor covers.
Dillon wore these patches to note his untimely deployment to South Korea. “OGDAA” stood for “one good deal after another.”

I patched the girls' eyes in home ec when they learned about chickens and eggs. They learned about monocular vs. binocular vision.
They played a ball game with an eye patch on to demonstrate monocular vision. It was a bit more difficult than they anticipated with the eye patches.

This year, we didn't get around to going to the pumpkin patch until the day before Halloween. Normally we're there at least a week before.
Usually I don't get home until 8pm or so, and the kids are being put to bed by then. But since the day before Halloween is the last day the pumpkin patch is open, I left work a little earlier than usual so I could get home in time to take them.
Had a good time. They got to go on some rides as well as a few of the jumbo slides. And of course I got to get a few pictures in. I swear I must have been the only one taking pictures there without flash. Everyone there shoots with flash. Makes for much better pictures to shoot without it. I'm pretty sure this shot would have looked horrible if I took it with a flash.

Friends and family gathered at Oars and Paddles Park in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, to celebrate Hunter Babcock's 4th birthday party Oct. 24, 2021. The gifts, games, cake, and decorations paid homage to Hunter's favorite theme: dinosaurs!
After the party, Hunter and his family visited a pumpkin patch at Satellite Beach Methodist Church to select the perfect pumpkins to carve for Halloween.
