U.S. Army Col. Mark Johnson, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade commander, and U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Terri Clavon, 3rd CAB command sergeant major, visited with Soldiers of Task Force Marauder at Fort Hood, Texas Sept. 18, 2017 to brief leaders as they prepare for the deployment and conduct a patch ceremony where TF Marauder members took on the 3rd Infantry Division patch. Task Force Marauder, which is aligned under the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade for deployment, is composed of Soldiers from the South Carolina National Guard, Pennsylvania National Guard, Illinois National Guard, and Iowa National Guard and provides aviation capabilities with AH-64 Apaches, UH-60 Black Hawks, and CH-47 Chinooks. Friends and family gathered at Oars and Paddles Park in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, to celebrate Hunter Babcock's 4th birthday party Oct. 24, 2021. The gifts, games, cake, and decorations paid homage to Hunter's favorite theme: dinosaurs!
After the party, Hunter and his family visited a pumpkin patch at Satellite Beach Methodist Church to select the perfect pumpkins to carve for Halloween.

This patch belonged to my grandfather (Alexander Wilkins - "WIlkie") who drove for McLean out of the Boston / Woburn terminal from the mid 50's through 1971.
I've put it up here as a way to share it with former McLean employees .

The Pumpkin Patch is located on Sauvie's Island just 15 minutes northwest of Portland, OR. From Portland, take Highway 30 west towards Scappoose to the Sauvie Island bridge. After crossing the bridge, circle to the left and loop back under the bridge, following Gillihan Road to the farm. Head straight 2 miles until you see our signs.
Market and U-pick: 9 AM - 6 PM, June through October.
Pumpkin Cottage Giftshop: 10am - 6pm.
Patio Cafe: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 10am - 6pm.
The Maize: September-October.
