Here are 2 older collar badges from Garda, the National Police Service in Ireland.

These are older style because they have a silver color to them. These were used until approximately 1990 according to my source. Then they started to use similar collar insignia except that the collar badges had a light gold color to them instead of silver.

These are worn on the blue dress coat. They are smaller versions of the hat badge that is worn - same design, even if a different color.

The one at left is a bit out of focus, but is the same as the one at Right which has a better image.

I collect insignia from Garda so if you have anything available, pls contact me. I have various things to trade including US patches, lapel pins, coins etc. Thx.
