Terri Clavon, 3rd CAB command sergeant major, visited with Soldiers of Task Force Marauder at Fort Hood, Texas Sept. 18, 2017 to brief leaders as they prepare for the deployment and conduct a patch ceremony where TF Marauder members took on the 3rd Infantry Division patch. Task Force Marauder, which is aligned under the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade for deployment, is composed of Soldiers from the South Carolina National Guard, Pennsylvania National Guard, Illinois National Guard, and Iowa National Guard and provides aviation capabilities with AH-64 Apaches, UH-60 Black Hawks, and CH-47 Chinooks. Another wonky 9 patch lattice completed.
I still have left-over blocks, so another one of these is on the list.
Simple stitch in the ditch quilting. Taught my DD how to hand sew binding on this one. I am proud to say she caught on to the ladder stitch right away and did a fabulous job.
I let my (very traditional) mom pick the solid for this quilt. I couldn't believe it when she bypassed the whites and pulled this turquoise from my stash. Looks like I may be starting to rub off on her. :)

I created the art for this patch using a drawing program (Art Expression) on the Amiga; the computer has since unfortunately died, and so I'll have to remake it when we run out of patches. Fortunately, I ordered a thousand of them, and we've only got a couple of schools and we don't teach kids, so that day remains well in the future.
Why is this in my "Amiga" album?
Because I designed it on the Amiga. :)

At the same time when I earned university degree in Computer Systems Engineering, I also earned military rank. This patch (Armed Forces of Russian Federation, Electronic Warfare) reflects my specialization.
This is Patch who we met whilst walking over at Keyhaven a couple of weeks ago. She is 14 years old and her owners told us they had had a 'scare' with her the previous week and thought that they were going to lose her. Patch reminded me of my mother's dog, Ruff, who was a collie cross, and I told them that Ruff had lived until she was 17 years old which made them feel a little better.
Patch was enjoying her cycle ride out along the coast. I hope she has many more
Just received my order of Black Rock Ranger widow patches from the vendor. Dude, these are PVC patches.
I like how the tree branch/bark is in different shades of patch just like Cordelia Charmsheep's head.
I wanted to take a full body shot of her laying between the tree branches but there were some ants and as much as Cordelia Charmsheep is found of animals, ants aren't one of them.
