On July 12, 2017, State Theatre New Jersey hosted it's annual Partners’ Breakfast panel discussion on “Diversity and Inclusion in the Arts, Partnering Across Organizations, and Building a Creative Workforce,” featuring David L. Gonzales (Head of Global Diversity & Inclusion, Bristol-Myers Squibb), Wanda Bryant Hope (Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Johnson & Johnson), and Carlos Medina (Chair, Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey), moderated by Dale G. Caldwell (author of Intelligent Influence: The 4 Steps of Highly Successful Leaders and Organizations).

In coordination with partner Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), the CIF conducted in May 2016 a Monitoring & Reporting workshop in Accra, Ghana.
The objective of this training was to strengthen Ghana's capacities for FIP monitoring and reporting the results achieved through the implementation of the investment plan.
42 Participants attended the workshop, representing civil society/NGOs, project management units, the World Bank and key agencies, notably the Forestry Commission, Cocobod, and the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources.
